postexec umount /cdrom doesn't work
Hi, Dear All
This is my section of [CDROM] in smb.conf:
[cdrom]
comment = Samba server's CD-ROM
writable = no
locking = no
path = /cdrom
public = yes
;
; The next two parameters show how to auto-mount a CD-ROM when the
; cdrom share is accesed. For this to work /etc/fstab must contain

About change of CDROM
Hi All,
We tested xm block-configure command.
Because when the domain image is made, we install it from multiple CDROM.
The procedure of the installation is as follows.
1) The HVM domain is started with the CDROM device.
・configuration file :
disk = [
''file:/xen/test/install-test.img,hda,w'',''phy:/dev/cdrom,hdc:cdrom,r'' ]
boot="d"

cdrom access does not work "as before" in wine-1.0.1 ?
Hello list,
Although i read posts related to cdrom access with wine in the forum and
did configure wine the way it is told, i still cannot reach a cdrom
image with wine-1.0.1. However, i could with older versions of wine.
Here is the config:
# mount -o loop -t iso9660 /path/to/bar-cdrom.iso /media/cdrom
$ ls /media/cdrom
[stuff listed from the bar-cdrom.iso, read as normal user]
$ winecfg

cdrom device handling
Is there a way for the tools to provide a configured cdrom as cdrom to
the temporary guest? Right now both disk and cdrom retrived from libvirt
will showup as disks in the temporary guest.
This happens for bus ide and scsi. It seems on my test system the guest
can not start from a scsi disk, but the scsi cdrom appears as scsi cdrom
in the guest. So I think its maybe just a matter of generating

cdrom after installing kernel

I have got a little problem- after rebuilding the kernel my CD ROM doesn't work. I thought maybe I had commented something necessary (like CD9660), but even if I change ident and filename from GENERIC to something other after mount /cdrom I get this error:
"cd9660: /dev/acd0c: Device not configured " (ofcourse I had put cd into the cdrom )
while using GENERIC kernel

chainload cdrom
perhaps the boot-from-cdrom code in Smart Boot Manager?
Bernd
>>>
No, since booting from CD-ROM requires that the El Torito part of the
BIOS is activated, which it won't be if it didn't boot from CD-ROM in
the first place.

Warcraft III can't find cdrom
Hi,
After setting the windows version to winxp I managed to install this
game without a problem. Playing however is another matter. It appears it
can't find the CDrom.
I'm using the deb-packages from winehq (version 20050111) in a sid
chroot on an AMD64 pure64 install with kernel 2.6.8 (Debian package
2.6.8-10). I copied the config file from the sample in the documentation

I already sent the message below to xen-users a few days ago, but didn''t get
an answer. So I hope that here on xen-devel is someone who has some ideas
