bug(?) in 2.11
Hi!
I write this config line:
kernel /boot/i386/vmlinuz ro ramdisk=32768 root=/dev/ram0 init=/linuxrc
but when I try to boot I got this mesasge:
Could not find kernel image: /boot/i.386/
Same symptomes are with slash and backslash too. I think, the parses
don't understand the directory separator characters and count as the
part of filename.
ps
Sorry for my english

Segfault at reboot caused by pciback.hide
Hi!
I created a dedicated driver domain on my opteron machine (xen-3.0.2-3,
changeset: 9762:1e225598ce82, 2.6.16.28, Debian Sid), and I discovered
an interesting segfault at the last step of reboot: when the kernel
flush out the md devices (raid1) the kernel prints the stack dump and
reboot immidietly. After rebooting, the state of first md deveice is
clean, but the second md device is dirty

Strange problem with dual head on GeForce9600GT (dual DVI)
Hi,
I am using nouveau for some time now, I am quite happy with it. I had
two screens connected with DVI to VGA adapters and dual screen was
working no problem. Today I decided to replace the DVI to VGA adapters
with plain DVI-I dual link cables and found out something strange, the
second screen doesn't display anything anymore, it stays black.
I am using gentoo linux with

dual head on laptop
I am trying to use the system-config-display utility to setup a
laptop for dual-heal.
I want my LCD to be 1024x768 and external VGA to be 1366x768.
I presume the LCD will go virtual or something to match the 1366x768
which is fine.
When I am setting up the dual head and click OK nothing happens???
On the console I have something about

Any recommendations? I am not interested in games.
Thanks.

code for model-averaging by Akaike weights
Dear all,
does anyone have r code to perform model-averaging of regression
parameters by Akaike weights,
and/or to do all-possible-subsets lm modelling that reports parameter
estimates, AICc and number of parameters for each model?
I have been looking for these in the archive but found none.

If by 'this' you mean indexing, it would be very confusing and error prone for expressions like lynx[c(1:3, 7)] (lynx is from class 'ts') to return a ts object with NA's inserted and, even more so, since this has been
