virt-manager can''t connect to Xen
Hi, I followed Boris'' tutorial to the letter about installing Xen 4 on Ubuntu Lucid. Dom0 starts ok, and xm works, but virt manager can''t connect to xen:///. I''m pretty sure that the problem is with virt-manager''s configuration file. I run xen-4.0.1-rc3-pre with Kernel 2.6.31.13. Here''s xm list''s output: $ sudo xm list Name

Mixed dom0/domU usage?
Hi, I'm wondering about the impact of using both dom0 and domU's on a server at the same time. I'm worried about the performance impact of running a Mysql server in a domU and now I'm thinking about moving the Mysql part of a LAMP setup into dom0 and running a few Apache guests as domUs. Since the Apaches will serve mostly from an NFS share they won't have much impact on

Neverending story: Networking in domU
Hi, i allready searched the archives, but found no message that really helps me. i am running debian etch on dom0 and debian sarge on domU. I had a running setup with debain sarge on dom0 before, but now with etch i can not get networking to work in domU. I use routed networking, but the same seems to happen with bridged networking: eth0 within domU is not brought up. I think it maybe related

Cannot get second network interface working in Linux guest
Hi, I''m running snv_89 on an X4150 with a CentOS-5 guest. I cannot seem to get my second network interface to work properly. I followed the virt-install instructions, and even saw the FAQ entry about adding a second network instance in the XML config. I see my second device in the guest but it''s either connected to the wrong interface or not at all. I''d like to
