"xm list" causing "OverflowError: int exceeds XML-RPC limits"
I am getting the following error with "xm list" on a x86_64 SLES10 Beta system running changeset 9435:11fee62328cc. I am able to bring up DomUs and I am able to do "xm info" without issues. But I am seeing similar "OverflowError: int exceeds XML-RPC limits" with "xm shutdown" and "xm destroy". My python version is 2.4.2. Any way I can get around

[PATCH][VNC Auth] Fix qemu-dm becomes defunct when rebooting hvm domain
Hi, Sorry, I should not have removed infomation on xend. image.py, line 399, in configVNC config.remove([''vncpasswd'', vncpasswd_vmconfig]) When vncpasswd is removed, qemu-dm cannot be started in reboot of hvm domain. Because necessary information disappears. It cannot be helped though information in config list remains in xenstore. This patch corrects above. Regards,

How to run japanese app with wine
Hi there. I'm sorry if this has been discussed before but I've searched a lot about it and couldn't find an answer so here it goes: How can I run japanese applications with wine? I've tried editing the Fonts section in .wine/config to use japanese fonts (like jis and watanabe) but the applications only display weird characters in place of the japanese chars. What do I have to do

Crossfader for ices 0.3
FYI, I've added a crossfader to the ices0 trunk in subversion: http://svn.xiph.org/icecast/trunk/ices0 It requires LAME support (of course). To use it, either pass -C <secs> on the command line, or add a <Crossfade>secs</Crossfade> node to the Playlist section of the config file. Reencoding must also be enabled on your stream. NOTE: the crossfader can't resample, so all

libnet: sock_connected insists on a timeout
While working on integrating nonblocking IO into libshout, I noticed that sock_connected cannot be called without blocking. If I read it right, a timeout of zero will cause the call to block until the socket is connected. So, my questions: 1. Am I reading this right? 2. How should I poll a pending connection? I'd prefer to have a zero timeout act as a poll, but I don't know if any other

Using the parallel port from domU
Hello I use xen and I am trying to use the parallel port of Centos 5.2 host from a Windows XP (HVM) guest. I have tried to transfer control of the port by blacklisting lp, parport and parport_pc + adding: ioports = [ "0378-037a" ] to the xen configuration file. However, in the presence of this line, xm create replies with: Error: function takes exactly 4 arguments (3

Bug#681213: Full logs?
Hi Orazio, Is "NoneType object is unsubscriptable" the full and complete error message? I'd have expected some sort of accompanying backtrace, if not on the console then in /var/log/xen/* Is this issue by any chance fixed by installing the xen-qemu-dm-4.0 package? Lastly, does this happen with the packages from Wheezy? Thanks, Ian.

Bug#648670: xm was unable determine an actual domU state under some conditions
Package: xen-utils-4.1 Version: 4.1.1-3 I have an HVM domU which was created with xen-utils-4.0 (and Xen 4.0 hypervisor of course). Recently I've upgraded to Xen 4.1 and xen-utils-4.1, but after a reboot I was unable to do anything with it: "xm start" caused "Domain is already running" error, while "xm shutdown" simply hadn't printed any error messages, only
