Bug#391448: xen-hypervisor-3.0-unstable-1-i386: dom0 crashes when starting the 3rd domU
Package: xen-hypervisor-3.0-unstable-1-i386
Version: 3.0-unstable+hg11561-1
Severity: important
I've installed
xen-linux-system-2.6.17-2-xen-k7 (version 2.6.17-9)
on a server, and planned to run 3 Xen domUs on it. Creating the domUs
was no problem, and running two of them works well. Starting the third
one however will crash the dom0 and forces it to reboot.
The machine is a Athlon64 3800+

FC5 -- Xen 3.0.2 -- iptables with dom0 and domU
Situation:
Running a simple UDP client/server program where the client on one domU on
one computer sends echo packets to another domU on another computer,
server sends echoes back. They do this on a specified port (will use any
port between 5000-6000). This program works on non-Xen machines in
various environments, Linux and Solaris. Program just hangs on the domUs.

Reboots when 2nd domu started?
Hi,
I found this email
http://lists.xensource.com/archives/html/xen-users/2006-12/msg00119.html
while browsing the xen-users list.
Apparently quite a few users are seeing related problems (reboots when
starting a 2nd or 3rd domU).
I don't really like the proposed workaround to use a 2.6.18 kernel
backported from sid.
I searched through this lists archive and bugs.debian.org but

Enabling auto domU start causing system reboot
I would like to have xen auto start the domUs when the dom0 is rebooted.
System is FC4 for both dom0 and domU. 1GB ram, etc.
I''ve enabled xend as chkconfig --add xend and it works fine.
I''ve enabled xendomains as chkconfig --add xendomains and it works fine as
long as I don''t have any domain config file in /etc/xen/auto. If I add a
file and reboot dom0, the host

debian xen packages : work with 2.6.16, reboots when loading dom0 with 2.6.17
I was giving a try to Debian Xen packages (it looks very promising by
the way ; I just happen to love the ? new ? grub which handles xen
images, for instance!) ; I have a box which boots correctly with
xen-hypervisor-3.0-i386_3.0.2+hg9697-2 and a 2.6.16 dom0 kernel, but
crashes when trying to boot linux-image-2.6.17-2-xen-686_2.6.17-7

Network errors, but only with sftp
Hello,
I''m using xen-unstable from 28th March, running on top of a Centos
4.3 system.
All seems to work well except for one strange networking error.
In my DomUs, all of my networking works except for sftp.
I can wget http://www.google.com and get an HTML page back. I can
ping, and I can
ssh to any host I like. But if I try and sftp to any host, I get an
