I am trying to use data=journal on my root file system. I have separate slices on which journal=data works fine on all of them, except root. I have tried putting rootflags=journal=data on my kernel line in Grub, but I get a kernel panic. I'm missing something simple, I jut know it. It can't be the kernel version because it works on the other slices. My etc/fstab file is as follows:

Background: This is a dual boot (Windows XP and CentOS 5.2 (32 bit) box. There were four (4) NTFS partitions. The C partition got full. I deleted the 4 NTFS partitions and did a clean install of Windows XP, into one (1) NTFS partition. I knew that I would need to install GRUB again and I did that, using the CentOS 5 Installation DVD. Hi, how can I install a openSuSE 10.3 PV-guest on a LVM-drive of a openSuSE 10.3 host with Xen 3.10? On 10.2 with Xen 3.0.3 the openSuSE-YaST-module for managing VMs could install the system also on block-devices, unfortunately this is not possible anymore with OSS 10.3 :-( What I have tried: - I created two LVM-partitions, one for "/" one for swap. - Installing an OSS 10.2 PV-guest
