Hi,
I am trying to install xen under Fedora Core 4 and when I try to boot
it, right after selecting xen from the grub list, I get an error. It says

I installed all the prereq''s., did ''sh ./install-sh'', added the three
line to /boot/grub/menu.lst, and disabled the tls. Is there anything

XEN and vcpus
HI.
Got a question.
When I assign a number of vcpus to a DomU, Are they dedicated to that VM?
For example: If I have 16 vcpus available and 8 DomUs, should I assign 2
vcpus for each one? or could I assign more vcpus (i.e. 6) and the hypervisor
takes care of it?
Thanks

Re: [Xen‑users] Should I use HVM?
Your decision on what platform to go with depends on your requirements
of course.
Some observations from my end:
Running a non-HVM platform limits you currently to OS where the OS
itself has been para-virtualized. An HVM-enabled platform enables your
future for changes that you may not have planned for at this time.
Also, keep in mind that as you look at the management tools available

Running Fedora Core 5 on top of SUSE 10.1
Noniko,
I saw your posting titled "SUSE10.1 has a nice Xen package again" and I was wondering if you had found any documentation on how to run Fedora Core 5 on top of SUSE10.1. Did you build the Fedora environment on a separate Fedora machine and then brought it over to the SUSE machine or did you find the Fedora tools (Yum/Anaconda) on SUSE?
Many thanks in advance.

/usr/lib64/xen/bin/qemu-dm: invalid option -- ''-vncconnect''
Hi.
I can''t use the vnc option (VNC=1 in my xmexample.hvm file), when I use
RedHat or Fedora on 64 bits. The qemu log, say /usr/lib64/xen/bin/qemu-dm:
invalid option -- ''-vncconnect''
But when I use RedHat or Fedora 32 bits, works fine.
There is a problem or incompatibility in the 64 bits Xen kernel and the VNC
option ?
Best regards
Luis
