Centos 5.2 using LVM -> DRBD 0.82 -> Xen Problems
Hi Everyone, I''m trying to get Xen to use a native DRBD device but it seems it will not create the virtual machine. It does not seem to like the DRBD device type, any ideas on what might be wrong? I''m pretty sure my xen config file is OK and the DRBD device looks fine too. Full details below. xm create centostest Using config file "./centostest".

HVM domain can not boot up with Qcow incremental image
Dear,Beg for your help. I am really puzzled with this problem.HVM domain can not boot up with Qcow incremental image(using command: qcow-create size incremental_file original_Qcow_img_file), but it can boot up with the original Qcow disk image file. When using Qcow incremental image, the guest qemu window would disappear before loading grub, and `xm list` can not find this guest domain. The VM

Mini-OS and Xend issue
I am seeing a strange issue while running Mini-OS on the changeset 9906:a95e677073c1. This is on both i386 and x86_64. The only difference being on i386 if I stop printing to the console, this issue is not manifested. But with x86_64 it happens all the time. Bringing up Mini-OS for the first time causes xm to hang on certain commands like "list, destroy". Other commands like

R-alpha: OStype
Robert I've been looking through my "R -- S compatibility" functions which may mostly disappear in R 0.60. In fact, it seems already that most of the things I'm trying to do are for operating system differences rather than R/S differences. The main problem I am having is that version$os gives more detail then I usually need, but it is not very convenient for determining simply

[LLVMdev] FYI: As of r159525, the LLVM test suite no longer uses tclsh-style quoting!
And there was much rejoicing, but probably also some pain. I've gotten the builds green (after some minor snafus) on Linux and Mac, and I think Windows should be fine (forcing the internal lit test runner passes on Linux). This has sped up test runs by about 33% on many-core Linux builds. =] However, for folks who maintain an out-of-tree regression test suite who were previously relying on

CPU/VCPU sharing
Hi All, I am new to Xen, and would like to know if anyone can help with a problem I have. I have a dual - Quad Core Intel 5535 VT 2.66 server, with 24G ram running CentOS5 dom0 and domU (both 64 bit). Everything works great and I am SUPER impressed with the efficiency of Xen (i have always been a UML man). I would however, like to run a single domU domain, with a single VCPU, but get the power

apcsmart and dual environmental sensors
Hi, We have a several AP9612TH environmental cards (they have 2 probe connectors) inserted into our APC UPS devices which monitor temperature and humidity. The apcsmart nut module knows how to query the ambient.temperature and ambient.humidity using the 't' and 'h' commands of the UPS (refer to apcsmart.h). The results of the 't' and 'h' commands are from probe 1.

I've having problems with a BT 2 span ISDN-30/Digium TE205P asterisk setup with outgoing calls not completing and requiring an Asterisk reset to 'unstick' span 1. identify duplicate from more than one column

Escape bytea binary data in postgres SQL
Hi! I want to escape binary data correctly either manually or using some pre-defined function that does this for me! I have found on the web: PGconn.escape_bytea but I only get "undefined method". Any ideas, what is the correct way of doing this my self? I''m using Rails (WEBrick) under Windows XP with postgre-pr 0.4.0 I have tried: s_buffer = s_buffer.gsub(/['']/,
