WCTDM-24xxp woes
I am currently running Asterisk 1.2.8, on an AMD Sempron 3100+ (ASUS K8N Nforce based board). I am using a Digium wctdm24xxp to terminate 8 (2x quad) FXO lines. Using ztmonitor (From zapata) I cannot see that there is any registerable incoming volume from these lines. I've been running them at rxgain = 25 (zapata.conf) to make the audio audible, however this creates poor call quality issues

Centos5-live kernel panic?
I am fairly sure that I had gotten this to work before, and I know that the Centos4-live disk worked OK, but now (maybe since I upgraded BIOS) I get this sequence after booting the live cd: Creating /var in RAM ... Done Found Centos-live.sqfs but couldn't mount it: Linking /usr to /centos-live/usr /linuxrc: 1208: [: not found Freeing unused kernel memory: 296K freed Write protecting the

CentOS4 and SiS190 LAN chipset
I have an Asus Pundit AE3 setup as an Asterisk server (Asterisk at Home) and the only quirk so far is that the onboard SiS190 LAN chipset is not detected and so I have fitted a full height card for now, but as it's a small barebones design this means I cannot fit the case cover. I have the option of throwing in a low-profile LAN card or compiling the OS/drivers - I have looked into this but it

ext3 involved in kernel panic in 2.6.13?
Dual Opteron system running ext3 atop drbd (network RAID) devices, which, in turn, are atop LVM logical volumes. The underlying device is hardware SCSI RAID via a LSILogic HBA. The kernel is vanilla 2.6.13 on a Gentoo-based system. A panic occurred, which contains references to ext3 code. I'm not sure how others manage to get these typed out, but I'm manually typing it from

LVM VG disappears after kernel upgrade on 5.1
I finally got 5.1 to boot after install (install couldn't keep the disk IDs from getting crossed up, so at reboot partitions were not where install said they would be). I needed to compile vmware and nvidia modules, but decided to upgrade first. Told yumex to upgrade everything. When I went to reboot the VG with / on it is not seen by the kernel. (root partition is LVM on top of RAID

Updated Zaptel this morning and *BOOM* *CRASH*
First time around, I just unloaded/reloaded the modules. The box locked up tight. Kernel Panic, memory leak?
Hi, It's become almost routine now to reboot the server every morning. If we are able to log in, after a lag of ~10 seconds, we see the load average is usually > 3.0. As I am writing this, it just went down again. The console had a bunch of text on it, the very bottom reading: <o> Kernel panic : Aiee, Killing Interrupt handler! In interrupt handler - not syncing Here is the

kernel panic with ext3 and cbq
Hello, I'm usign Kernel 2.2.19 with ext3 0.0.7b patches. I'm also using cbq to control bandwidth. The cbq is correctly creating the classes and queueing disciplines but, whenever I call cbq stop I get a kernel panic: > Aiee, killing interrupt handler > Kernel panic: Attempted to kill idle task! > In interrupt handler - not syncing The exact line in cbq script that is

About Diffserv on linux!
Hello, This is a question about diffserv on linux. We know, there is a file sch_dsmark in linux source code. Now, i want to add something in the function dsmark_enqueue, for example, i want to add a function which can add a class and queue automately in dsmark_enqueue. That is, not using the command tc. After adding one, it works well, but when add the second one, there is a kernel panic:

3ware 9550SX - Xen-3.0.0
Guys, I''m about to set up Xen on a dual Opteron server backed with SATA storage which is driven by a 3ware 9550SX controller. The problem is that as linux-2.6.12.6 has no support for this type of card by default, so I need to download & compile the driver the vendor provides. I did so (for the kernel 2.6.12.6-xen0) and generated an initrd image which gets loaded properly at bootime,

SELinux on CentOS4
I regret the delay in replying to this topic but I am a digest subscriber so I only see list traffic once every 24 hours. When I moved from RHES3 to CentOS4 back in April/May of this year I was bitten by the SELinux gnat as well, and the temptation to swat a distracting irritation by killing it in its bed nearly proved irresistible. However, taking to heart the advice given to me here and

Problems with --delete
Hi, I'm using rsync 2.6.3 on both sides, and I'm having trouble with --delete. It does not seem to be removing any files on the target filesystem. Here's the command I'm using: rsync -av --delete --exclude "lost+found" /ops/ mercury2:/ops This is for a fairly large ext3 filesystem (420G) with "lots" of files. If I run the command repeatedly, the

php-5.0.4-0.iva.0.centos4.src.rpm (built for x86_64 and i386) in CentOS Plus
All, Ignacio Vazquez-Abrams has created php-5.0.4-0.iva.0.centos4.src.rpm that works with CentOS-4. After testing this version of php, we have decided to include it in CentOS-Plus for CentOS-4. It is available for i386 and x86_64. There are several files in each distro: x86_64: php-5.0.4-0.iva.0.centos4.x86_64.rpm php-devel-5.0.4-0.iva.0.centos4.x86_64.rpm

There isn't package for httpd-2.0.52-41.ent.6.centos4 [centos announce list from 12.11.2009]
Hi. There isn't a package httpd-2.0.52-41.ent.6.centos4 for centos4 in UPDATES repo. There is only a httpd-2.0.52-41.ent.6.centos4.src.rpm in SRC [http://mirror.centos.org/centos/4/updates/SRPMS/?C=M;O=D] This is probably a bug. Package httpd doesn't build ?
