Xen Unstable Seed Repository Tarball
The Xen Mercurial cheatsheet ( http://www.cl.cam.ac.uk/research/srg/netos/xen/readmes/hg-cheatsheet.txt ) says: <<<<<<<<<<<<< You can point a browser and this and use Hg''s web interface to view revision history, or use it as the nominated source when issuing "hg init" or "hg pull" commands. However, to avoid taxing the Mercurial

[PATCH 2.5.69 3/3] Bandaids for gen_init_cpio and initramfs
Last patch for now. This gets gen_init_cpio into a state where it can pick up a "kinit" binary from usr and stuff it into the cpio archive as /sbin/init. This is obviously a crock, but it suffices for testing until something sane is done about integrating klibc into the kernel tree. The patch also adds a bit of instrumentation to initramfs.c, to try to help flush out bug 740.

Limit distribution of continuous-time Markov process
I have (below) an attempt at an R script to find the limit distribution of a continuous-time Markov process, using the formulae outlined at http://www.uwm.edu/~ziyu/ctc.pdf, page 5. First, is there a better exposition of a practical algorithm for doing this? I have not found an R package that does this specifically, nor anything on the web. Second, the script below will give the right

Web Forum for SysLinux
Hi, My name is Nuno and I'm one of the Administrators at Boot Land ( http://boot-land.net) Our site is mainly focused on boot disks and boot loaders. We'd like to host an official forum section for discussions specific to SysLinux since it is also used with frequency in some of the projects that are being developed at the site and this would also bring some extra exposition of this

Deciles and R
Hi everyone, I'm a new R user (if this is a really basic question, please do excuse me...) and I'm having some questions regarding a deciles problem. I have a variable which I need to categorize according to its deciles (X). However, this categorization should be made into another variable (call it NewVar). Ex. for the quartiles case (just for the sake of exposition, since I need

Mercurial commit hooks...
Hi all I''ve watched all the discussion about svn commit hooks, as I really want to integrate that into my system - the only thing is, that I use Mercurial as my SCM system. So I was wondering if someone out there knows mercurial well enough to write a commit hook? I''ve tried myself, and came up with this: pretxncommit.parsecheck_puppet = hg log -v -r $HG_NODE | sed -n

CVS to Mercurial switch
I've been meaning to switch away from CVS for a few years now, but I was never sure what I wanted to switch to, so I kept delaying it. I finally decided yesterday that Mercurial is pretty nice. The Mercurial repository is available from http://hg.dovecot.org/ (has a nice web interface). I wrote a small Mercurial mini-howto below. I'm not a Mercurial expert yet, so if you know better ways

Mercurial repositories for ManageSieve and Sieve
Hello Dovecot users, Recently I was asked to use Mercurial for the ManageSieve development just like Dovecot. As a matter of fact I have been using Mercurial for some time now. Now that I am back from a short and active vacation I am ready to publish my repositories. The repositories are publicly available at: http://hg.rename-it.nl/ The -patch repositories are so-called Mercurial Queues (MQ)

Permissions of mercurial-hgk?
I just installed mercurial-hgk on CentOS 6.4 x86 and the permissions were set so that it couldn't be run by a non-root user. The two files that had incorrect permissions were: /usr/libexec/mercurial/ /usr/libexec/mercurial/hgk Is that an issue with CentOS? Or is it an issue that I should open a bugzilla against RHEL for? Thanks, Dave

Compression of largish expression array files in the DAAGbio/inst/doc directory?
The inst/doc directory of the DAAG package has 6 files coral551.spot, ... that are around 0.85 MB each. It would be useful to be able to zip then, but that as matters stand interferes with the use of the Sweave file that uses them to demonstrate input of expression array data that is in the "spot" format. They do not automatically get unzipped when required. I have checked that

Compiling from Mercurial
Feeling greatly daring, I just tried compiling from the Mercurial source. Steps included: 1. download bz2 file from mercurial site 2. unpack 3. ./autogen.sh 4. ./configure --with-bzlib --with-zlib --with-ldap --enable-maintainer-mode 5. ./make I receive the error: Making all in master make[3]: Entering directory `/opt/dovecot-2-0-7a839a028dfa/src/master' gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I.

Mercurial repository for zfs-crypto
First let me say I''m deeply sorry for the mail storm that seeding the new hg/zfs-crypto/gate repository caused. An explanation of what happened and why can be found on my blog: http://blogs.sun.com/darren/entry/sorry_mercurial_hg_push_oops There is also a discussion going on in the tools community on how to ensure this doesn''t happen again:

Core dump in 2.0-beta4 and latest Mercurial
I'm seeing core-dumps with both 2.0-beta4 and a fresh checkout from Mercurial. I'm very new to Dovecot, so there's a good chance this is caused by my limited experience with Dovecot configuration, but it's my understanding that any core-dump is considered a bug (nice policy by the way). The installation seemed to be working as expected until I added the two namespaces and
