BUG: soft lockup - CPU#1 stuck for 61s
?i,
I have a cluster with 5 nodes hosting web application. All web servers
save log info into shared access.log file. There is awstats log
analyzer on the first node. Sometimes this node fails with the
following messages (captured on another server)

+ and - in RODBC : no longer considered factors
I have a large Sweave report that reads data from a database file. Some of
the columns are 1-character strings containing only +, - or NA. An example
for such a table is shown below, and can be downloaded for easier testing

testing shorewall6 on a virtual machine
I want to test shorewall6 in a scenario with several virtual machines. Each virtual machine has the interface eth0.
With IPv4, I would assign an IP-alias to eth0:1 and so would have eth0 and eth0:1 as interfaces for shorewall6.
How is this done with IPv6?

Printer settings on 2.2.5
Hello.
We are using a Samba 2.2.5 as a PDC on a Debian GNU/Linux server. This
server also handles a few printers, through LPRng. On the Unix side,
no problem (duplex, simplex, short-duplex), everything works fine.
I followed the instructions from the howto collection "Printing
Support in Samba 2.2.x" to make these printers available on
Samba. Most of the described procedure worked

Problems with samba as PDC
Greeting-
I have a mixed network of ms-windows, macintosh and freebsd systems.
I am setting up a FreeBSD 9.0 system as a PDC using samba.
I can from a FreeBSD box attach to the SMB server as a user that is defined
on the Samba Server.

OCFS2 Node restart
Hi,
I have 6 nodes cluster with OCFS2 1.4.2 running on vmware virtual system
RedHat 5.2 (2.6.18-128.1.16.el5) 64bit.
Out of 6 nodes two nodes alf0 and alf3 reboot automatically, I enabled
remote logging for kernel, and here is log.
I noticed VM become non-response and suddenly reboots. I am running Alfresco
(documents sharing) application all nodes are accessing common share on
OCFS.

Is it one issue. Do you have some good ideas, thanks a lot.
Hi, everyone
I have some questions with the OCFS2 when using it as vm-store.
With Ubuntu 1204, kernel version is 3.2.40, and ocfs2-tools version is 1.6.4.
As the network configure change, there are some issues as the log below.
Why is there the information of "Node 255 (he) is the Recovery Master for the dead node 255" in the syslog?
Why the host ZHJD-VM6 is blocked until it reboot

servers blocked on ocfs2
Hi,
we have recently started to use ocfs2 on some RHEL 5.5 servers (ocfs2-1.4.7)
Some days ago, two servers sharing an ocfs2 filesystem, and with quite
virtual services, stalled, in what it seems on ocfs2 issue. This are the
lines in their messages files:

[PATCH 1/1] O2net: Disallow o2net accept connection request from itself.
Currently, o2net_accept_one() is allowed to accept a connection from
listening node itself, such a fake connection will not be successfully
established due to no handshake detected afterwards, and later end up
with triggering connecting worker in a loop.
We're going to fix this by treating such connection request as 'invalid',
since we've got no chance of requesting connection
