I wanted to know if anyone had any good experiences with particular payment gateways and Rails? and what did it take to integrate? My current client uses PayPal for the credit card payment processing, and would like to stay with them, if possible. So has anyone had any experiences with integrating with PayPal? Hi. When I upload a 10Mb file (from my browser) to my Rails app, a Tempfile object gets created on the server. When the contents gets written to the database, it''s a simple INSERT, so basically the data is read to memory and then inserted into MySQL.
