Thunderbird Will Not Download Email Until Computer Is Rebooted
Hey Guys, Have any of you seen an issue with Thunderbird in which the computer has to be rebooted for email to be downloaded? I have been looking over the InterWebs and I cannot find anything. I can see new email on the server as well. Where would be a good place to start for troubleshooting this issue? Thanks

Strange issues with newly rebooted machine
Hi all, After being up and running for almost 2 years, we finally had to reboot one of our servers. Now, however, it's having "problems." We're using real-time configuration for SIP peers and voicemail, via ODBC. But when I run "sip show peers" I don't get anything. Even when I load a known peer by name, nothing happens: sip show peer voice12 load This

Server rebooted, log message "kernel: Keepalive, Event:mdseve_cookie, client ping timeout"
Hi. Our CentOS 5.4 server just rebooted sponteneously while doing heavy I/O. There is a message in /var/log/messages just prior to reboot, kernel: Keepalive, Event:mdseve_cookie, client ping timeout Google does not turn up anything. What does this mean and how can I prevent it from happening again, please? Best, -at

server rebooted email
I used to put a line in rc.local to email root that my server rebooted. Does anyone have a nice systemd unit file to do the same? Also useful would be a shutdown email with the output of uptime. (I usually do that manually when rebooting for a kernel update.)

System Rebooted by 2.6.18-8.1.8.el5
Hello, I have a machine that seemed to reboot by itself yesterday, in /var/log/messages I only see: Mar 25 14:26:45 asterisk shutdown[19256]: shutting down for system reboot When I type: last reboot I see: reboot system boot 2.6.18-8.1.8.el5 Tue Mar 25 14:28 (18:41) So it seems like the kernel rebooted, but I'm not sure how I can track down why, any pointers? Thanks!

CentOS 7 magically rebooted!
CentOS Linux release 7.2.1511 (Core) Hi, Last night our CentOS 7 server rebooted. Seemingly it's a very clean reboot. I can't find a shred of evidence as to why it happened though. Things I've checked: * sa reports * /var/log/{messages,secure,dmesg,cron} * /var/log/audit/audit.log * lastlog The host is used for KVM virtualisation and connects via multipathing to our OmniOS SAN via
