Transport endpoint is not connected while mounting....
Does anyone have any idea what to try next? Here are the steps I have taken and the problem: (I wanted to post my question on the first line before I explained the problem and what I have tried) ---------- Node 0 has the file system mounted just fine and works great. When trying to mount on Node 1: `mount.ocfs2 /dev/mapper/data /cluster/ data` I get this error after about 30 seconds:

mount.ocfs2: Transport endpoint is not connected while mounting
Hi All, I have a cluster of four nodes and one will not join the cluster. I have two IPs on each node, one external and one internal. I have tried changing around the IPs in the /etc/ocfs2/cluster.conf and that helped - at least I recovered three of the machines. Any suggestions on where else to look? dlm timeouts and following errors -112
Hi list, I am experimenting with ocfs2 (rpm package: 1.2.2-0.2), using linux-ha 2.0.8 (all running on a SLES 10 x86-64, rpm packages from linux-ha.org) for the heartbeat. The three nodes are connected on a gigabit switch. From time to time I have problems to unmount a drive, and I have to reboot the whole system to fix the problem. When these lockups occur, I see these messages in

Another node is heartbeating in our slot!
All, We are having some problems getting OCFS2 to run, we are using kernel 2.6.15 with OCFS2 1.2.1. Compiling the OCFS2 sources went fine and all modules load perfectly. However, we can only mount the OCFS2 volume on one machine at a time, when we try to mount the volume on the 2 other machines we get an error stating that another node is heartbeating in our slot. When we mount the volume

Hi, Everything compiled correctly for the ocfs2 package, but so far the modules will not load with the "well known" module symbol error. FATAL: Error inserting ocfs2 (/lib/modules/2.6.16.27-0.6-smp/kernel/fs/ocfs2/ocfs2.ko): Unknown symbol in module, or unknown parameter (see dmesg) Okay not sure what is up here, any suggestions? BTW, this is the correct module location and I

extremely low performance on Samba 4.2.14-Debian
Hi everyone, here's my problem: I have a fast server (dual Xeon E5-2620, 64 GB RAM) with a fast RAID array (24 disks, RAID-6, more than 2GB/s read/write local performance, XFS filesystem) and fast network : dual 10GigE (myri10g) and 40GigE (i40e). It's running Debian 8.11, tried various kernel versions (currently 4.4.x, but 4.9 isn't any better). It's slow as dead snails in

[LLVMdev] Debugging LLVM IR
Hi, I'm trying to write a compiler for a language that seems useful. I decided to target LLVM and write the compiler to just print out IR as text, instead of using the API's. This allows me to focus on the IR instead of having to learn the API as well, which kind of seems like an extra obstacle at this point. Anyway, writing out IR seems like a nice enough way to learn LLVM, except that

Two APC900 UPS on the same usbbus1
Hi! On my FreeBSD 12.0-RELEASE-p7 server I was unable to retrieve the correct information from my two UPS. Every time only the first UPS will returned when I entering "upsc apc900" or "upsc apc901". I don't know why (Bug or configuration issue on my side?!). I have downloaded the latest source code and with my "patch" I was able to get the right information

Merging two data objects question
I have two R objects, allDataSubset1 and allDataSubset2 and the str of both of them is shown below ( I don't show all 18 lists for space purposes ). The difference between them is that the times ( and possibly the days ) and the data is different and what I want to do is merge them so that only the data in Subset2 that is the same day and times as Subset 1 remains in the merged dataset.

RFC 3501 compliance issue: body-type-msg incorrect
Hi, I am using Dovecot 1.0 beta 7, moving to beta8 probably tomorrow. I am seeing a few RFC compliance issues with IMAP responses. I have an in-house IMAP client that caches IMAP data for a web mail system (it parses millions of IMAP interactions a day), and it reports whenever it gets a line that does not look RFC compliant. Unfortunately, users modify their mailboxes before I can get a copy

Long running nbdkit instances seem to leak memory
I'm using nbdkit + the file plugin to serve NBD root filesystems for some machines, so I get to observe how it behaves for very long runs. I think this indicates a memory leak?
