Recover botched drdb gfs2 setup .
Hi.
The short story... Rush job, never done clustered file systems before,
vlan didn't support multicast. Thus I ended up with drbd working ok
between the two servers but cman / gfs2 not working, resulting in what
was meant to be a drbd primary/primary cluster being a primary/secondary
cluster until the vlan could be fixed with gfs only mounted on the one
server. I got the single server

DRBD on a xen host: crash on high I/O
Hello,
I have a couple of Dell 2950 III, both of them with CentOS 5.3, Xen,
drbd 8.2 and cluster suite.
Hardware: 32DB RAM, RAID 5 with 6 SAS disks (one hot spare) on a PERC/6
controller.
I configured DRBD to use the main network interfaces (bnx2 driver), with
bonding and crossover cables to have a direct link.
The normal network traffic uses two different network cards.
There are two DRBD

Using XEN 4.1 to run Windows 7 DOMU on SERVER1, replicated the HVM to SERVER2 using DRBD. Win7 DOMU doesn't boot in SERVER2 after replication
Hi All,
I'm new to XEN and using XEN 4.1 on UBUNTU to run Win7 guest.
I've 2 Servers(both UBUNTU 12), where Server1 is configured with full Win7
guest installation on a partition(It works fine).
Now as i use DRBD to replicate this partition into Server2 system and try
to boot the Win7 DOMU from harddisk, I get below mentioned error -

Hi,
I'm building a cluster containing two nodes with seperate common storage
server.
On storage server i have volume with ocfs2 fs which is sharing this
volume via iscsi target.
When node connected to the target i can local mount volume on node and
using it.
Unfortunately. on storage server ocfs2 logged to dmesg:

heartbeating in the wrong slot
Our cluster is has recently been logging messages like this:
Apr 18 08:05:39 lv2 kernel: (26235,1):o2hb_do_disk_heartbeat:776 ERROR: Device "blk_shared": another node is heartbeating in our slot!
where blk_shared is the name of the shared disk that we have ocfs2 mounted on. Can someone tell me what this means?

Another node is heartbeating in our slot!
All,
We are having some problems getting OCFS2 to run, we are using kernel
2.6.15 with OCFS2 1.2.1. Compiling the OCFS2 sources went fine and all
modules load perfectly.
However, we can only mount the OCFS2 volume on one machine at a time,
when we try to mount the volume on the 2 other machines we get an error
stating that another node is heartbeating in our slot. When we mount the
volume

MS-Java programs in Wine
Hi,
I am new to this list and I am sorry if this is not very on-topic. But
I need to run an java program in Wine. Why a java program?
Well.. It happens that HP Openview Service Desk is written in java but
uses com.ms.wfc.* extensions, that is, Windows Forms extensions.
I have tried to install MS-JVM which I got from the net into wine. It
wouldn't install.
J2SE5.0 installed OK, but

Authentication inside VirtualMachine works but without doesn't
Hi,
I can authenticate with the smbd from macos 10.12 using smb 3.6.25 inside a
vm running on the same machine.
smbclient -L 192.168.0.87 -U username --signing=off
works.
But when using the same command from a different PC i get
NT_STATUS_LOGON_FAILURE.
It is the same client setup. Any clues?

ocfs2 very slow
Hello,
I have one cluster with drbd primary/primary and OCFS2.
If I do:
from server 1:
-cd /mnt/ocfs2 (this is a directory shared with ocfs2)

At this point it take 30-50second and display ls result (cp don't are

It's normal this "delay"? thank you

I have two servers with same arrays. Servers connected by DRBD.
I used ocfs2 as file system, also I used NFS4 to access to the
ocfs2 drive. I do not have any idea, but the allocated descriptors in

So after some time allocated descriptions over

guestmount fails after linux kernel update 01/10/2018
Hello,
I had been using guestmount to mount a raw image and it has been working
great until I updated the kernel on 01/10/2018. I am running ubuntu 16.04
LTS, and have changed the read permissions to the vmlinuz as I have done
with previous kernels. The only change to my system between working and not
working is the kernel update from this morning. I am concerned this might
be related to the

Centos 5.2 using LVM -> DRBD 0.82 -> Xen Problems
Hi Everyone,
I''m trying to get Xen to use a native DRBD device but it seems it will
not create the virtual machine. It does not seem to like the DRBD device
type, any ideas on what might be wrong?
I''m pretty sure my xen config file is OK and the DRBD device looks fine
too.
Full details below.

Using config file "./centostest".
