Possible locking problem in DLM code
Hi,
with lockdep enabled, I get the warning below. I've verified it and it
seems to be really correct - we acquire dlm->ast_lock and lockres->spinlock
in different orders in dlm_queue_bast() and dlm_lockres_release_asm().
I'm not sure whether this can really lead to a deadlock and / or how to
fix this...

Good Morning all,
Have started seeing this over the last few days on a couple of hosts.
Does anyone have any familiarity with this, and or how I can debug what
mount/filesystem/inode is having the issues?

ocfs2_queue_orphans() has an open coded readdir loop which can easily just
use a directory accessor function.

fsck hangs in Pass 0a
Hello list,
I have a ~10TB ocfs2 filesystem in a 8-node cluster. This sits on a
logical volume (I know lv is not cluster aware, but I make sure no one
touches the lv, while the cluster is running). The LV consists of 5x2TB
multipath devices.
I recently had errors like this on some nodes:
OCFS2: ERROR (device dm-7): ocfs2_check_group_descriptor: Group Descriptor # 0 has bad signature

Attempting to boot Unity3D
Unity3D.com
I'm getting tired of having to switch to Windows (I dual boot windows and ubuntu) everytime I want to code in Unity so I tried installing it under Wine 1.3.22.
I got it to build my project from dropbox and open it, but as soon as the editor opens up the window freezes. Here is what the terminal put out as I ran it:

Kernel Panic, Server not coming back up
I have a relatively new test environment setup that is a little different
from your typical scenario. This is my first time using OCFS2, but I
believe it should work the way I have it setup.
All of this is setup on VMWare virtual hosts. I have two front-end web
servers and one backend administrative server. They all share 2 virtual
hard drives within VMware (independent, persistent, &

[PATCH 0/7] ocfs2: Directory indexing support
The following patches implement indexed directory support in Ocfs2, mostly
according to the design doc I wrote up a while ago:
http://oss.oracle.com/osswiki/OCFS2/DesignDocs/IndexedDirectories
The patches have been rebased on top of 2.6.29-rc2. It should be trivial to
put them into merge_window. Things are what I'd call complete now. I'd like
to get these into the merge_window branch

[git patches] Ocfs2 updates for 2.6.30
Hi,
The following patches comprise the bulk of Ocfs2 updates for the
2.6.30 merge window. Aside from larger, more involved fixes, we're adding
the following features, which I will describe in the order their patches are
mailed.
Sunil's exported some more state to our debugfs files, and
consolidated some other aspects of our debugfs infrastructure. This will
further aid us in debugging

Wine fail to launch game in Steam
A few weeks ago I reinstall my laptop with Debian etch (upgraded to lenny), kernel 2.6.27.8, wine 1.1.10, fglrx v8.11 (ati x2300) and Steam api version v007
There is no problem to launch Steam.exe (`wine /path/to/Steam.exe &`). However, after Steam.exe startup, I can not launch Day of Defeat. No specific error displayed on the screen, the `Preparing to launch Day of Defeat' dialog popped

[PATCH 00/42] ocfs2: Add reflink file support. V1
Hi all,
So I have finally finished the v1 of reflink for ocfs2. It has some
bugs that I am still investigating, but the schema is almost there. So
I'd like to send it out first for review. And Tristan and I will
continue to work on the stability of the code.
The general information for reflink, please see
http://oss.oracle.com/osswiki/OCFS2/DesignDocs/Reflink.

[PATCH 00/39] ocfs2: Add reflink file support. V3
Hi all,
So I have finally finished the v3 of reflink for ocfs2. The biggest
change is that we support 64bit cluster offset now(Thank Mark and Joel
for it).
