ocfs2_controld.cman
If I start ocfs2_controld.cman in parallel on a few nodes, only one of them starts up, the others exit with one of these errors: call_section_read at 370: Reading from section "daemon_protocol" on checkpoint "ocfs2:controld" (try 1) call_section_read at 387: Checkpoint "ocfs2:controld" does not have a section named "daemon_protocol" call_section_read at

Patch to Pacemaker hooks in ocfs2_controld
Hi Guys, I overhauled and simplified the Pacemaker hooks recently. This patch: - Reuses more code from the Pacemaker libraries - Escalates fencing to the cluster manager instead of initiating it directly Attached patch is against master, or you can pull the original patch which is against an older version used by SUSE:

ocfs2_controld binary
I have been reading loads of threads over different mailing lists about ocfs2_controld, so have anyone ever built Cluster stack (openAIS, pacemaker, corosync + OCFS2 1.4) from source and got o2cb agent working with pacemaker? Got this from messages: /var/log/messages:Aug 14 15:05:20 ip-172-16-2-12 o2cb(resO2CB:0)[4239]: ERROR: Setup problem: couldn't find command:

Is Pacemaker integration ready to go?
I have seen many references online to being able to use OCFS2 with Pacemaker, but the documentation I have been able to find is very Sparse. I have kernel 2.6.29, and the latest DLM and Pacemaker (using openais) and OCFS2-Tools from GIT. (As of June 13). I was able to build ocfs2_controld.pcmk ... (With some minor changes to the makefile for my install) I noticed the OCF version of o2cb is not

Hello Everyone, Coming accross this once in a while. It's the test environemnt so not very important, and it does take a lot of abuse. Maybe it's of interest to someone. The previous patch, for whatever reason, fails to apply on top of tip. This patch is reimplemented and, hopefully, fixed.

Using fsdlm/ocfs2_controld.cman, I've rerun the test I've been having problems with on 2.6.30-rc1. After running for several minutes in the same directory on three nodes, the test hangs, and I collect the following information: bull-01 ------- 3053 S< [ocfs2dc] ocfs2_downconvert_thread 3054 S< [dlm_astd] dlm_astd 3055 S< [dlm_scand]

OCFS2 problems when connectivity lost
Hello, We are having a problem with a 3-node cluster based on Pacemaker/Corosync with 2 primary DRBD+OCFS2 nodes and a quorum node. Nodes run on Debian Squeeze, all packages are from the stable branch except for Corosync (which is from backports for udpu functionality). Each node has a single network card. When the network is up, everything works without any problems, graceful shutdown of

[PATCH matahari] Introduces a multiplexer for taking requests and mapping them to APIs.
The Multiplexer lets Matahari register APIs and then call them by that registered name. APIs are function pointers in the form of: const char* function(const char *); where the API takes as input a descriptor containing any arguments, and returns an array containing the response or result. Also adds a testing directory and unit tests to validate the Multiplexer. The new directory, src/tests,

Looking for some glue between Strong Parameters and CanCan
Hello Rails World, does anybody know a good solution for Strong Parameters in a Rails app authorized by Cancan (or a similar authorization gem)? def user_params if current_user.admin? params.require(:user).permit! else params.require(:user).permit(:password, :password_confirmation) end end Now I want to do this the "Cancan way". My first idea looks strange to me: def

How to glue com32 module in grub2 ?
Hello Erwan and others, I am running HDT from grub2 with memdisk. I have informed the success of booting hdt to the grub2 list. Some developers are very much interested to this issue and they are showing their interest to make a glue between com32 and grub2 so that hdt can be loaded without memdisk. It is really very exciting to have hdt as an inbuilt feature of grub2. Could any one kindly

[LLVMdev] Beginner needs some glue between Kaleidoscope and other docs
Hi Folks, I am just starting to get familiar with the llvm framework, thank you at first for this nice tool which seems really powerful! I have studied so far the Kaleidoscope example and other docs at llvm.org and try to figure out which would be the "right" way (well I suppose there are many) to integrate the framework into my compiler project, but there is still quite a gap between

[LLVMdev] Chain and glue operands should occur at end of operand list
Hi, I got that message from a call to InstrEmitter::AddOperand. I am writing a back end for CortexM0 (for self teaching purposes), I am working on LDR with immediate offset instruction. In the ARM backend, if the offset is 0, the following code is executed by the function ARMDAGToDAGISel::SelectThumbAddrModeImm5S Base = N.getOperand(0); OffImm = CurDAG->getTargetConstant(0, MVT::i32);

[LLVMdev] Is it correct for a glue operand to be replaced with a chain?
Hi, I am confused about the behavior of chain of glue operands; I have a node that receives the chain and a glue operand from the same node, and the ISEL DAG looks how I want it to. However, once it passes to scheduling, the glue no longer exists and the nodes are just chained, but twice. ISel output: ISEL: Starting pattern match on root node: 0x2c689c0: i32,ch = SHADDXH 0x2c688c0:2,
