Solaris 11 System Reboots Continuously Because of a ZFS-Related Panic (7191375)
I''ve hit this bug on four of my Solaris 11 servers. Looking for anyone else
who has seen it, as well as comments/speculation on cause.
This bug is pretty bad. If you are lucky you can import the pool read-only
and migrate it elsewhere.
I''ve also tried setting zfs:zfs_recover=1,aok=1 with varying results.

[PATCH 0/6] Quota fixes for 2.6.31-rc4
Hi,
I did some more in-depth testing of OCFS2 quota code, especially with ECC
feature enabled and spotted some problems. First four patches fix them.
I need the fifth patch to be able to mount OCFS2 filesystem with 2.6.31-rc3.
The sixth patch fixes a potential problem when quota syncing interval is
updated while the cluster is running (which is not possible currently).
Joel, could you please

[GIT PULL] ocfs2 fixes for 2.6.31-rc5
Linus, et al,
Here are all the outstanding ocfs2 fixes for 2.6.31. The major
fixes are for aio write and for non-sparse file extending. There are
also a couple of b-tree fixes as well as some for quotas.
Please pull.

[PATCH 1/1] OCFS2: fix for nfs getting stale inode.
Ocfs2 supports exporting.
PROBLEM:
There are 2 problems
(1) Current version of ocfs2_get_dentry() may read from disk
the inode WITHOUT any cross cluster lock. This may lead to load a stale inode.
(2) for deleting an inode, ocfs2_remove_inode() doesn't sync/checkpoint to disk.
This also may lead ocfs2_get_dentry() from other node read out stale inode.
PROBLEM DETAIL:
for problem (1),

[git patches] Ocfs2 and Configfs updates for 2.6.27
I'm running a bit late with the e-mail this time around, but I think that's
ok since there really isn't any major new features here - the bulk of the
Ocfs2 update is bug fixes, or cleanups. The same goes for configfs.
The only two things that could be described as features would be:
- Sunil has updated Ocfs2 to provide even more live cluster locking
information via debugfs.
- Joel

[SUGGESSTION 1/1] OCFS2: automatic dlm hash table size
backgroud:
ocfs2 dlm uses a hash table to store dlm_lock_resource objects. the often used lookup is performed on the hash table.
problem:
for usages that there are huge number of inodes(thus huge number of dlm_lock_resource objects) in a ocfs2 volume, the lookup performance becomes a problem. the lookup holds spin_lock which could put all others cpus into the state of aquring the spinlock. if

kernel BUG at /usr/src/ocfs2-1.2.1/fs/ocfs2/file.c:494!
Hi,
First of all, I'm new to ocfs2 and drbd.
I set up two identical servers (Athlon64, 1GB RAM, GB-Ethernet) with Debian Etch, compiled my own kernel (2.6.16.20),
then compiled the drbd-modules and ocfs (modules and tools) from source.
The process of getting everything up and running was very easy.
I have one big 140GB partition that is synced with drbd (in c-mode) and has an ocfs2

Problem with ordered mode handling on truncate
Hi,
I've looked at how OCFS2 call jbd2_journal_begin_ordered_truncate()
(because I've been adding some comments about how is should be used) and
noticed that OCFS2 has a potential race in truncate vs transaction commit
leading to stale data in file. In particular: There is a race if someone
writes new data and we start committing the transaction after
