[PATCH] use sb_getblk
It's both in 2.6 and recent 2.6 (for RH ASS2.1 you'll probably need to
copy the latest 2.4 defintion, but I don't care for obsolete junk).

[LLVMdev] Fixing prototypes in llvm-c/Core.h.
Hi,
The include file include/llvm-c/Core.h contains declarations
such as "LLVMTypeRef LLVMInt1Type();", which raises the
warning "function declaration isn't a prototype" when
using them in .c files.
Using "(void)" instead of "()" is the solution of course. Could
someone please:
sed -i~ 's/()/(void)/' Core.h
[Sorry to be picky, but so is my

Can you please send a patch. See

prototypes for z_sin() and z_cos()
Hi
I have been looking at complex.c and want to access z_cos() and z_sin
() from
C in one of my packages.
There doesn't seem to be a corresponding header file: there is no
complex.h file.
Where are the prototypes of z_sin() and z_cos() for these functions?
grepping didn't help me:
find ~/downloads/R-2.1.1/ -name "*.h " | xargs
egrep "z_cos"

Strict-prototypes definitions in R includes
Dear list,
Whenever the flag "-Wstrict-prototypes" is set in gcc, compiling code that
includes headers in lib/R/include generates often warnings
(example with R-2.6.1:
Rinternals.h:560: warning: function declaration isn't a prototype
).
All such warnings I looked at were about functions with empty
signatures declared
as "bar foo();" rather than "bar

[PATCH] drm/nouveau: dispnv50: fix missing-prototypes warning
From: Arnd Bergmann <arnd at arndb.de>
nv50_display_create() is declared in another header, along with
a couple of declarations that are now outdated:
drivers/gpu/drm/nouveau/dispnv50/disp.c:2517:1: error: no previous prototype for 'nv50_display_create'
Fixes: ba801ef068c1 ("drm/nouveau/kms: display destroy/init/fini hooks can be static")

Bug in win32-api with void prototypes?
Hi all,
It seems that a void prototype requires an explicit argument in our
version of win32/api:
C:\>irb
irb(main):001:0> require ''win32/api''
=> true
irb(main):002:0> include Win32
=> Object
irb(main):003:0> require ''Win32API''
=> true
# Our version

S4 setClass with prototypes " issues" (PR#8053)
To R-Developers:
I wish to report what I believe are inconsistencies between Green Book
descriptions and R methods behaviors. I **realize** that R does not
guarantee total consistency with the Green Book; therefore I leave it to you
to decide whether any of this is a bug, design choice, or a need for
additional documentation -- or whether I have simply misread or overlooked
existing explanations.

[PATCH] Fix fuction prototypes/definitions with void argument
Hi,
the patch below fixes function prototypes/defintions with void
argument to shut up the heartful warnings by recent gcc :)
It doesn't cover all places, e.g. test directories.
The patch is to 1.1.2.
