Hi, I'm setting up a 2-node Oracle 9i RAC on OCFS2. But I have some problems with understanding how the shared Oracle_Home is being used. For instance there is the *$ORACLE_HOME/oracm/admin/cmcfg.ora* file. The $ORACLE_HOME is on the SAN so the 2 nodes have access to this file. How will the settings then be done per node? Hi again, It seems that I have a problem again. When I startup the database, it has an error: ORA-29701: cannot connect to Cluster Manager. 1. I have started the the cluster manager, and ps -ef shows that watchdog and and oracm is running. 2. I've looked into the cm.log, and it seems that both nodes have registered successfully.
