Update on NUT 2.4 roadmap
I finally took some time to lay down a consolidated roadmap to the next major milestone (2.4), and some update on this. 1) new documentation (User and Developer Manuals) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is the biggest change for 2.4. We will use the new test.networkupstools.org website to create and maintain the content, based upon the

How to use gnfs with 3.11.0 ?
It is componentized in Bug 1326219 and is not available by default. What package should I install to use gnfs? I can not find a package named glusterfs - gnfs. Thank you. -- Tetsuo

Slow write times to gluster disk
Hi Soumya, I just noticed some of the notes at the bottom. In particular * Till glusterfs-3.7, gluster-NFS (gNFS) gets enabled by default. The only requirement is that kernel-NFS has to be disabled for gluster-NFS to come up. Please disable kernel-NFS server and restart glusterd to start gNFS. In case of any issues with starting gNFS server, please look at

It is a NFSv3 server and can only be used to export Gluster volumes. You can enable it: - install the glusterfs-gnfs RPM (glusterfs >= 3.11) - the glusterfs-server RPM might contain the NFS-server (glusterfs

3.12, ganesha and storhaug
All, I am upgrading the storage cluster from 3.8 to 3.10 or 3.12. I have 3.12 on the ovirt cluster. I would like to change the client connection method to NFS/NFS-Ganesha as the FUSE method causes some issues with heavy python users (mmap errors on file open for write). I see that nfs-ganesha was dropped after 3.10 yet there is an updated version in the 3.12 repo for CentOS 7 (which I am

Does anyone have winbind working on Freebsd?
I have been trying to setup a Samba 2.2.6 server on FreeBSD 4.7. I want to use my NT4 domain for authentication of users. It looks like everything is setup properly as far as winbind is concerned, see below for results using wbinfo. I am still prompted for a password when trying to connect to the samba share. I cannot list the shares using "smbclient -L servername -Udomain+username"

Syslinux roadmap, revised
Hi all... I'm looking once again at the Syslinux roadmap. It seems to me that we're going to have a very hard time making Syslinux 4.00 be the full-featured everything-in-C release I had hoped for, or perhaps more specifically, that it is justifiable to sit on the current filesystems-in-C code waiting for the rest. That would probably mean productizing the transitional COM32R module

roadmap & development
Hi there, I'm very interested in oVirt as a management interface for a VM setup we're building, however it seems as though there isn't much info on the product roadmap or active development. I'm wondering if anyone could point me to more information on the roadmap or commit activity on the project? Regards, Anthony -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was
