"gluster peer status" messed up
I have three machines, all Ubuntu 12.04 running gluster 3.3.1.
storage1 192.168.6.70 on 10G, 192.168.5.70 on 1G
storage2 192.168.6.71 on 10G, 192.168.5.71 on 1G
storage3 192.168.6.72 on 10G, 192.168.5.72 on 1G
Each machine has two NICs, but on each host, /etc/hosts lists the 10G
interface on all machines.
storage1 and storage3 were taken away for hardware changes, which included

3-layer structure and the bonnie rewrite problem
Hello list
First of all: Good work and thanks for GlusterFS!
I'm totally new to GlusterFS, but i like it a lot and think about
migrating my NFS setup completely to GlusterFS. But i ran into some
problems with my chosen structure. Hopefully someone can help out.
The first questions: i ran into some performance issues with a certain
structure/setup and like to know (before i continue testing)

patch: mailboxcasecmp()
Here is a patch which adds mailboxcmp() and mailboxcasecmp() functions,
similar to mailbox_equals(). Names were chosen to match strcmp() and
strcasecmp(). I needed this for Johaness Berg's dspam plugin. It
watches a folder "SPAM" and forcing this to be uppercase is unacceptable
for me. (I also had to modify the plugin to use the new routine.)
It's against dovecot-1.0.beta8

doveadm dsync-server doesn't use user parameter?
I did a debug output of the dsync-server and found out that it queries
the userdb parameter but doesn't use it.

Backup Suggestion on C7
Hi list,
I'm building a backup server for 3 hosts (1 workstation, 2 server). I
will use bacula to perform backups. The backup is performed on disks (2
x 3TB on mdraid mirror) and for each hosts I've created a logical volume
with related size.
This 3 hosts have different data size with different disk change rate.
Each host must have a limited sized resource and a reserved space. If a

and it was an "R help" question which Rui so generously answered.
But this is the R-devel mailing list.
Please do *NOT* misuse it for R-help questions in the future:

Stroring and extracting AICs from an ARIMA model using a nested loop
I am nowaware that I should not post this type of questions on this group. However, Iwould like to have some clarifications related to the response you've?alreadyprovided. The code you provided yields accurate results, however I still haveissues grasping the loop process in case 1 & 2.
In case1,?the use of?"p+1" and "q+1" is still blurry tome? Likewise "0L"

Assistance request
Hi Samba team,
first I want to appologize for this spam, you probably get tons of such messages per day.
However I am desparate and sick of digging into newsgroups, mailing lists and everything else ;))
Since 1 year I am trying to find a way to make samba receive winpopup messages from Windows 2000, or Xp, using
the "net send" command.

Win98 client can't connect after Samba upgrade
Hi All, I was running Samba 2.2 as a PDC for a small office server for several years. Hardware was getting old enough I finally bit the bullet and upgraded to Samba 3.3.4 on FreeBSD 7.2 and a new box.
The smbpasswd file and all that stuff was copied from the old box. Clients are Win2000 and XP Professional, and for the most part were back up and connected, practically unaware of the switch

security bug or misconfiguration ?
Dear list,
We are experiencing users unexpectedly accessing each others files.
It happens when they try to access files that are called the same and which
is located in an equal file structure under their login drive. Two other
conditions
need to be fulfilled: one of the users needs to have the file locked and
both users
needs to be logged into the same Citrix server(windows-2000).

Not enough disk space error?
Hi,
I have installed Samba on a Debian machine. I have created 2 shares on these
filesystems:
/dev/hde3 71G 33M 71G 1% /storage/1
/dev/hdg1 75G 8.8G 66G 12% /storage/2
As you can see, both have in excess of 60GB free space.
When I try to copy files to the filesystems via Samba, an artificial limit
is being imposed - at around 8.8GB. From windows I get

Hi list,
I've solved my problem.
I've understood some concepts.
I've defined bacula-sd multiple devices with different Media Type and
configured different storage directives in director.
Thanks.

Hi, all.
I'm new to rsync so please bear with me...
I'm trying to back-up to a remote host (rsync locally works fine) & keep
getting the below error messages. If I mount the remote host on my OS X
box (I'm attempting to back-up my Debian boxes) the operation flows
smoothly.
I've upgraded my rsync version to the same as the remote host, chmod'd

Stroring and extracting AICs from an ARIMA model using a nested loop
Hello
I am trying to extract AICs from an ARIMA estimation with different
combinations of p & q ( p =0,1,2,3

anyone help?
code:
storage1 <- numeric(16)
for (p in 0:3){
? ? for (q in 0:3){
?

}
