gluster client timeouts / found conflict
Hi list
Recently I've experienced more and more input/output errors from my most
write heavy gluster filesystem.
The logfile on the gluster servers show nothing, but the client(s) that get
the input/output errors (and timeouts) will as far as I can tell get errors
such as :

Fwd: Troubleshooting glusterfs
Hello Nithya! Thank you for your help on figuring this out!
We changed our configuration and after having a successful test yesterday
we have run into new issue today.
The test including moderate read/write (~20-30 Mb/s) and scaling the
storage was running about 3 hours and at some moment system got stuck:
On the user level there are such errors when trying to work with filesystem:

Hello Nithya!
Thank you so much, I think we are close to build a stable storage solution
according to your recommendations. Here's our rebalance log - please don't
pay attention to error messages after 9AM - this is when we manually
destroyed volume to recreate it for further testing. Also all remove-brick
operations you could see in the log were executed manually when recreating
volume.

Problems with striped-replicated volumes on 3.3.1
Good afternoon,
I am playing around with GlusterFS 3.1 in CentOS 6 virtual machines to see if I can get of proof of concept for a bigger project. In my setup, I have 4 GlusterFS servers with two bricks each of 10GB with XFS (per your quick-start guide). So, I have a total of 8 bricks. When bu

"linkfile not having link" occurrs sometimes after renaming
There are two users u1 & u2 in the cluster. Some files are created by u1,
and they are read only for u2. Of course u2 can read these files. Later
these files are renamed by u1. Then I switch to the user u2. I find that u2
can't list or access the renamed files. I see these errors in log:

Replicated Volume Crashed
Hi,
I have a gluster volume that consists of 22Bricks and includes a single
folder with 3.6 Million files. Yesterday the volume crashed and turned out
to be completely unresposible and I was forced to perform a hard reboot on
all gluster servers because they were not able to execute a reboot command
issued by the shell because they were that heavy overloaded. Each gluster
server has 12 CPU cores

回复: glusterfs segmentation fault in rdma mode
Hi ,all
We found a strange problem. Some clients worked normally while some clients couldn't access sepcial files. For exmaple, Client A couldn't create the directory xxx, but Client B could. However, if Client B created the directory, Client A could acess it and even deleted it. But Client A still couldn't create the same directory later. If I changed the directory name, Client A

Unusual bug in glusterfsd
Hi,
I'm rather new to this project, having stumbled across it earlier this
afternoon, so forgive me if I'm still trying to find my way around. I
was in the need of an alternative to NFS that would let me spread the
task of sharing my downloaded source code files across a couple of
boxes, and GlusterFS looked like a great candidate, having had no luck
with Coda or OpenAFS.
I also want
