[8.0.0 Release] rc5 has been tagged
Dear testers,
8.0.0-rc5 was just tagged from the release_80 branch at r355909.
This is identical to rc4 with the addition of r355743. Hopefully it is the
final release candidate, so please give it a good testing.
As usual, please run the test script, share your results, and upload
binaries.
I'll publish source tarballs and docs as soon as possible, and binaries as
they become available.

General performance of RC5
Hi all,
Switiching to RC5, there is a visible decrease in performance to access
via IMAP large accounts (>1G) with mutiple mailboxes per accounts.
In RC4, there was no delay visible by a human when accessing locally.
Now it takes up to 4 or 5 secs.
(running on OpenSuse, mysql 5.1.35 for auth, dbox as back end)
Anybody experienced also this ?
Thanks
Joan

Links 2003 Regression in WINE 1.4-rc5 & 1.4-rc6
The radio buttons have disappeared unless one right click's on the general area of the button. This problem began in 1.4-rc5 and still exists in 1.4-rc6. Links 2003's radio buttons worked fine in 1.4-rc4 which is the last version of WINE that'll I use until this problem is fixed.

More [A tangent on RC5] Cryptography patents (was: openssl lib question.)
I hate following up to myself, but
I thought a clarification of one
point (specifically WRT RC5 which
was mentioned in the original question)
might be worthwhile...because what
I should have said originally was
that "To the best of my non-legally-
admissible knowledge, however, none

IPP2P broken?
Hi,
I tried shorewall 2.2.0-rc4 and 2.2.0-rc5 on 3 different machines (just to be sure it''s not pebkac). The IPP2P support is broken, line like:
DROP loc net ipp2p
generates:
iptables -A loc2net -j DROP
that''s _wrong_ :)
i have tried playing with debug to no avail, and I''m not that good at bashing...
just to be complete, the suggested status.txt from one of the

v1.2.rc5 released
http://dovecot.org/releases/1.2/rc/dovecot-1.2.rc5.tar.gz
http://dovecot.org/releases/1.2/rc/dovecot-1.2.rc5.tar.gz.sig
Some small fixes mainly. I guess I'll still have to release rc6 and rc7
after all. I've been a bit busy with v2.0 changes recently.
BTW. I'm leaving tomorrow to San Francisco and I'm going to check out
what's happening in Apple WWDC next week.
