Samba 3.0.25c and Samba 3.0.26a on AIX 5.3 - Windows Service Accounts & smbclient issues...
Just the beginning of a question to anyone who might have experienced
the following issue with Samba 3.0.2[5-6] series.
We currently have service accounts accessing Samba shares on AIX 5.3
servers ( from TL04 - TL06 ). Most of the processes access the shares
via UNC rather than mapped drives. After completing the upgrade to
Samba 3.0.26a on the production side, the service accounts started

Trigger and Email in Dial Plan
I have a friend traveling overseas. I want to allow him to call a number
which will give him a busy signal (so no charge), but will then send me an
email that he has called.
I know how to use a call file to trigger a call (I created a callback system
for myself when I traveled overseas a few months ago), but I don't know how
to trigger an email. All I want is a simple message like

Questions about file system support in Samba
I'm a relative newcomer to Samba, but very experienced with computers and
linux. I'm attempting to build a file/backup server for a small shop. I'm
using Fedora core 4 and samba on a system with a 2.1 TB RAID 50 array
formatted as 1 very large xfs partition. I want to share directories
(folders) within the partition with a few Windows XP-Pro SP2 systems which
are our primary
