Magellan Roadmate tools 3050T & Suse 10.2
I am trying to access my GPS using wine 0.9.24 0n Suse 10.2 and Cxoffice 6.0 Beta 3a . Cxoffice 5.03 does not work at all with my Suse 10.2 installation. The Magellan road mate tools work well enough in both cxoffce beta and wine, however wine seems to handle it better when importing POI ( Points of Interest) files. Overall I think the wine included with Suse 10.2 is doing a better job -

Samba 3.0.9 ==> 3.0.14a migration LDIF problem
I'm trying to migrate my existing RedHat ES Samba PDC to Ubuntu. The RedHat version of Samba is 3.0.9 and the Ubuntu version is 3.0.14a. Everything was going fine until I tried to import the LDIF of the existing LDAP directory. The LDIF actually imports all of the structure (OU and Group definitions) and all of my users, but it fails when it comes to my first machine account with this

AutoCad 2004, Samba 3.0.11 & file locking issues
Sorry for such a long post as my first to the list, but in an effort to forego a long back and forth question/answer session via email, I think if I post all the information that I currently have someone may be able to more quickly spot my issue. The server in question is a Gentoo server running Samba 3.0.11. The basic problem is that when person A opens an AutoCad file, person B is unable to

problem with multiple figure postscript file
Hello all! I'm a newcomer to R, so please bear with me. My problem is the following: I'm trying to use R to do some geostatistics stuff (mostly kriging), and am having trouble printing a multiple figure. When I create a single figure (one image/contour command), it works fine. The instant I try to create a multiple figure file, I start getting postscript errors. I'm using the

blktap complaining what does it mean ?
Hi, I''m a newbie to Xen. I installed a DomO CentOS 5.2 and several DomU (centOS, Debian and Ubuntu). It worked very well. Yesterday I experienced a power cut. I now experienced some problems. For example, when I start a DomU with the "xm create whatever_I_want" command, I get : Using config file nnnnnnn tap tap-10-51712 : 2 getting info Started domain xxxxxx and just after,

This script modify the IPADDR line in the following files : - /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0 - /etc/sysconfig/networking/devices/ifcfg-eth0 - /etc/sysconfig/networking/profiles/default/ifcfg-eth0 Then I reboot the VM and it

nested anova not giving expected results
Hello all. This may be a trivially simple question to answer, but I'm a little bit stumped with respect to the calculation of the F statistics in nested anovas in R. If I understand correctly, the F statistic for the among-subgroups but within groups hypothesis is calculated as MS_subgroups/MS_error, while the F statistic for the factor is calculated as MS_factor/MS_subgroups (I'm

[LLVMdev] [PATCH] Test failures
Hi all, I experienced some test failures under Linux, probably caused by r232936: In the test SanitizerCommon-Unit :: Sanitizer-i386-Test/MemoryMappingLayout.CodeRange the temporary test file was opened write-only, but was read from, what subsequently failed: Note: Google Test filter = MemoryMappingLayout.CodeRange [==========] Running 1 test from 1 test case. I''m having some difficulty writing an email file attachment to the filesystem. I have the following line in my /etc/aliases webname: "| /usr/bin/ruby /home/webname/webapp/script/runner ''AssetSubmitHandler.receive STDIN.read''" Everything works up to this point, it picks up the email and tries to process it. Samba and file locking
Hi there, Let me first tell you our setup.... I'm at a school (actually 2 but who is counting) with approx 1000 students in a NT domain. In the past we have had problems with students consuming more diskspace than was intended. First we tried to enforce a quota using kix, but the little 'rats' soon figured a way around that. To overcome that we started using an Linux setup with
