Nvme m.2 disk problem
Hi list, I'm running Centos 7.6 on an Corsair Force MP500 120 GB. Root fs is ext4 and this drive is ~1 year old. System works very well except on boot. During boot process I got always a file system check on nvme drive. IO errors on mountpoints cause failure with --one-file-system
I ran rsync with the --one-file-system option and observed: building file list ... readlink_stat "/home/pimlott/mnt/<hostname>" failed: Input/output error done IO error encountered - skipping file deletion Of course, this directory is a remote mount-point, and the remote host cannot be reached. I intuitively expected this error to be ignored, since the directory

sum and limit quota for multiple filesystems/mountpoints
Hi, is there any way to sum and limit quotas for one user across multiple filesystems? E.g. I'd like to use different mountpoints on a mailserver for /var/mail and /home but the user should have only a total of 1GB. or on a samba server the windows profile files should be on an other filesystem as other files for that user. Mountpoints with auto mounter
Hi, I'm running dovecot on a OmniOS installation and I'm wondering what I can do about all those mount point warnings in my logfile. The problem occurs because of the running auto-mounter which manages my mail directories. Isn't it possible for dovecot just try to access the directories before logging an error message. Shall I remove the corresponding mount points from the list of

still nfs mountpoints do no work as samba shares?
In the past I used samba shares on top of autofs NFS shares. I did not try samba over static NFS mounts (file systems mounted by root manually or defined in /etc/fstab.) I suspect therefore that you might have a permissions issue. I had several servers running NFS and Samba, so this meant that user id's were consistent across all machines for both nfs/unix and samba.

Icecast/Ices and Mountpoints
How does one get mountpoints working. I have tried time and time to get seperate mountpoints going (eg 56k and 112k on /56 and /112) but no dice. Do I need to start 2 instances of icecast? Any pointers are appreciated. -Paul Slinski --- >8 ---- List archives: http://www.xiph.org/archives/ icecast project homepage: http://www.icecast.org/ To unsubscribe from this list, send a message to

Well, your calculations are a bit off here to begin with - the numbers here give 20 (or more)
