Too many registrations!
Why are there separate registrations for every tab in the Wine HQ? Shouldn't there only be ONE registration for HQ, AppDB, Bugzilla and Forums? Having separate registrations for different parts of a site is just silly and definitely not user friendly.

(Demo CD available) Has anyone tested AutoCad 2000 with any recent wine ?
AutoDesk now offers a free 15 day demo CD of AutoCad. I hope some of the talanted wine developers take the opportunity to get the CD and try to get it to work. http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/item/0,,616392-123112,00.html In my opinion there are two windows application that are more important than others and that is AutoCad and Quark express. Autocad LT 2000 recipe
I just ran across a blog post with what looks like a tutorial on installing autocad LT 2000 on Wine. http://jnoter.blogspot.com/2007/05/come-installare-autocad-su-gnu-linux.html It's Italian, so I haven't really looked at it yet... and there's no appdb entry for Autocad LT 2000 yet, or I'd have posted this as a comment there. - Dan

Hi ruelle, As Austin said, MText crash (point 1 of post you linked) is fixed in git. Point 2, aka the DIB engine, won't very probably never be accepted on wine

Has anyone tested AutoCad 2000 with any recent wine ?
Has anyone tested AutoCad 2000 with any recent wine ? Once upon a time I got Autocad R13 to work, only toolbars and screenrefresh was not working to 100%, then it broke completely, and 10 months ago when I tested with AutoCad 2000 it was still broken. Has anyone done any testing recently ? AutoCad and Quark express are two very important pieces of software for wine, since they both lack

Keyboard not recognized. Help, please.
Hello, all. Wine's Notepad captures my keyboard input perfectly, but nothing else does. All the software I've installed so far is silver-rated and up on the AppDB (except for some small programs that aren't even there... I'll add entries just as soon as I get this fixed). This includes, for example, Bulk Rename Utility, Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne and World of Goo, all three

Re: Re-proposal: web forums
Hello, I like mailing lists more than forums. But I think most "normal" computer users have a different view. That's why I like the idea of a wine forum. n0dalus wrote: > On 4/22/06, Paul <subsolar@subsolar.com> wrote: > >> I don't like web interfaces! >> >> No seriously, I don't have the time to spend going out and monitoring a >>

Problem registering to the AppDB
Hi, for some reason I can't register to the AppDB with my email. When I press the "Create Account" button at the bottom of the form, I only get a page with the AppDB logo and the CodeWeavers ad. No message or email that the registration succeeded, no error message. :( When trying to browse the AppDB again, I only get a white page until I delete the AppDB cookie. This happens on both

I will be using half-life as the game I am trying to launch for this topic as it is one that most people can get running as far as i can tell. I have a x86_64 intel i7 system with a nVidia GT218 [NVS 3100M] graphics card. I am running Fedora 13 , and distribution

Success! Autocad 2000
I had about given up on getting this to work. But I read in different forums that it would work, so... I kept fiddling with it and it finally worked. It seems autocad has it's DLLs in a directory called common files, but it couldn't find them. Copying all of the files in that folder to the main ACAD2000 folder made it work. This was the last thing that had me booting XP occasionally. --
