Nested matchers
We''re encountering a failure with Mocha 0.5.6.
We had this expectation:
game_version.expects(:attributes=).with(:game_file =>
kind_of(GameFile), :game_id => @game.id)
This expectation was passing with 0.5.5, but fails with 0.5.6.
I added this test to parameter_matcher_acceptance_test.rb, which
passes in 0.5.5 and fails in 0.5.6

Modelling Foreign Keys
Can someone point me to a reference or tutorial that shows how to map
foreign key relationships in the model?
For example given:
Users
id
name
email
Posts
id
user_id
title
How do I associate user_id with users.id in the Post and User models?
has_many and belongs_to don''t seem to do it.

Testing REST webservices? (Not Rails)
Hi,
I am new to RSpec and BDD.
I was wondering if RSpec specifications are a good solution for testing
REST webservices (not implemented in Rails).
If so, what would be a good way to test something like the API described
below?
===========
GET http://localhost/workflow text/xml
Result: 200 OK
<?xml version="1.0"?>

Degree of freedom issue on chi-square test of goodness of fit
I am running chi-square test of goodness of fit, the observation data was
well groupped to observation freq. I assume the data obey the normal
distribution N(? ?^2), while ? and ?^2 are unknown. So I use their
estimation. Consequently, I calculated out the probabilities and input in
vector p
>x<-c(6,13,14,27,25,19,10,6) #observation freq>p<-c(0.0505, 0.0874, 0.1533, 0.2088, 0.2088,

[PATCH] Btrfs: add tests for find_lock_delalloc_range
So both Liu and I made huge messes of find_lock_delalloc_range trying to fix
stuff, me first by fixing extent size, then him by fixing something I broke and
then me again telling him to fix it a different way. So this is obviously a
candidate for some testing. This patch adds a pseudo fs so we can allocate fake
inodes for tests that need an inode or pages. Then it addes a bunch of tests to

[PATCH 5/5] lib: Deprecate old SELinux APIs, rewrite SELinux documentation.
Also turns the --selinux option of guestfish, guestmount and
virt-rescue into a no-op -- it didn't work before so this is

crr - computationally singular
Dear R-help,
I'm very sorry to ask 2 questions in a week. I am using the package
'crr' and it does exactly what I need it to when I use the dataset a.
However, when I use dataset b I get the following error message:
Error in drop(.Call("La_dgesv", a, as.matrix(b), tol, PACKAGE = "base")) :
system is computationally singular: reciprocal condition number =

[PATCH 0/5] Fix SELinux
We can use the setfiles(8) command to relabel the guest filesystem,
even though we don't have a policy loaded nor SELinux enabled in the
appliance kernel.
This also deprecates or removes the old and broken SELinux support.
This patch isn't quite complete - I would like to add some tests to
the new API. I'm posting here to garner early feedback.
Rich.

Error with looping through a list of strings as variables
Dear R users:
I have been trying to figure out how to include string variables in a for
loop to run multiple random forests with little success. The current code
returns the following error:
Error in trafo(data = data, numeric_trafo = numeric_trafo, factor_trafo =
factor_trafo, :
data class character is not supported
In addition: Warning message:

[PATCH] Btrfs: add tests for btrfs_get_extent V2
I''m going to be removing hole extents in the near future so I wanted to make a
sanity test for btrfs_get_extent to make sure I don''t break anything in the
meantime. This patch just puts btrfs_get_extent through its paces by giving it
a completely unreasonable mapping to look at and make sure it is giving us back
maps that make sense. Thanks,

Parallel computing with rgenoud and snow: external file I/O possible?
I am trying to use rgenoud and snow with an external model and file I/O.
Unlike the typical application of rgenoud and snow, I need to run an
external executable and do pre- and post-processing of input and output
files for each parameter set generated by genoud(). I'm hoping that
someone can suggest improvements to my approach and a work-around for
file I/O problems I've encountered when

This converts more of the tests (basically everything under tests/) to
use the test harness, revealing some problems which have subsequently
been fixed.
