How to use smbpasswd/login when Microsoft Account is tied to Windows login
Hello,
I try to connect a Windows 10 Microsoft Account which is tied to Windows
login with my (standalone-)Samba-Server.
With local users i do
adduser username
smbpasswd a smbuser
And this runs for me.
But how is to do with Microsoft Account which is tied to Windows login?
I got these error-message in /var/log/syslog:

Unintended side-effect from before_remove_const?
Hey all,
In troubleshooting a failing test for MetaSearch against 3-0-stable, I came across some undesirable (from my side, anyway) behavior in http://github.com/rails/rails/commit/bf87528b53f1422708ec0188d126cfca824ddc5c.
A simple one-liner, it would appear, but AR::Base implements before_remove_const to do a bit of scoped method cleanup... It''s the only thing I can see that might

Unintended loading of package:datasets
The dataset package is being loaded apparently by one of the packages that I
am using. The loading of the datasets takes a long time and I would like to
eliminate it. I thought the datasets were effectively examples so don't
understand why they would be required at all.
1) How can I determine what is causing the datasets to be loaded?
2) How can I stop them from doing so?
I am using the

is "unintended library loading" actually possible?
Please, help me understand if 'use chroot' option in daemon config is
secure enough.
Rsync manual has following lines:
As an additional safety feature, you can specify a dot-dir in the
module's
"path" to indicate the point where the chroot should occur. This
allows rsync
to run in a chroot with a non-"/" path for the top of the transfer

Unintended thread forked in autostart
Hello all,
I''ve got the problem about the following simple application using
autostart and repeat_every.
A thread(?) is forked for processing task at first, but at sencond time
two threads seem to be forked.
My simple application code is...
- In worker class
class FooWorker < BackgrounDRb:Rails
repeat_every 2.minutes
first_run Time.now

Patch to add "warn" value to ForwardX11 and ForwardAgent
Because ForwardX11 and ForwardAgent are so useful but introduce risk when
used to a not well-secured server, I added a "warn" value to the ForwardX11
and ForwardAgent options which causes the ssh client to print a big warning
whenever the forwarding is actually used. I plan to make "ForwardX11=warn"
the default in my ssh_config distribution.
I'm not proposing that this

ability to select which identity to forward when using "ForwardAgent" ?
Hi,
I usually have around 10 identities loaded in my local ssh-agent and when I
use the "ForwardAgent" option all them are forwarded to the remote server,
which is not ideal. I usually only need to forward one (or two) of the
identities and I would like to be able to choose which one(s) to forward.
Looking for solutions it seems that the only option is to create a new
ssh-agent, add

Security - ssh allows unintended access on AIX
Under AIX there are three security settings:
expires = a fixed date at which an account is no longer valid
maxage= weeks before a password expires
maxexpires=max weeks during which a password can be changed by a user after
expiration AFTER WHICH ACCESS IS NOT ALLOWED
Beauty of maxage with expires is, that no manual intervention is required
to block inactive users.
With maxage=5 and expires=1 an
