[PATCH] Added option 'RetryDelay'
Being rather aggrevated when testing at the enforced 1 second
delay between each connection attempt and the useless 1 second delay
done after all connection attempts have failed I wrote a patch to make
the number of seconds delayed between each connection attempt
configurable.

SCP support for -o StrictHostKeyChecking=no broken
Hi.
With SCP, it seems like the option precedence is ignored.
Although this seems to work well with SSH.
$ scp -oStrictHostKeyChecking=no hs21-dev04:/tmp/1 hs21-dev02:/tmp/2
The authenticity of host 'hs21-dev04 (192.168.12.11)' can't be established.
RSA key fingerprint is ec:0f:eb:b2:fa:6f:50:ef:89:64:01:5e:c9:cc:54:20.
Are you sure you want to continue connecting (yes/no)?

Doesn't StrictHostKeyChecking=no do what is wanted?

how to check whether the ssh tunnel is up
Hi all,
I use the command below to set up a ssh tunnel. And I run it as a daemon
process to keep the ssh tunnel work all the time. And I should wait for the
ssh tunnel to be up and notify the tunnel is OK before sending any command
to the remote port on the remote server. But the question is I don't know
how to check the ssh tunnel status. Is there a way to show whether the ssh
tunnel is up?

[PATCH] Enable ssh_config to set LogPath option (-E)
ssh client has the ability to set the destination of debug logs via the `-E` flag. ssh_config lacks an equivalent keyword to set the same option via configs.
This patch follows the same semantics of other `*Path` type keywords and creates a new ssh_config keyword `LogPath`.

[PATCH] Add a Maximum Idle Time (1.2.2)
The attached patch adds an option (off by default to preserve current
behavior) to set a timeout on the select() statement that waits for input
in clientloop.c. This fixes a timeout issue for me (explained below) and
probably also fixes the timeouts mentioned in last month's thread "Idle
time out". The patch is also available by http from:

Missing SSHFP RRs / VerifyHostKeyDNS & StrictHostKeyChecking
Y'all,
Currently (OpenSSH_7.1p1) no distinction is made between when an SSHFP
RR is missing
from the result set (rather then being empty), which can lead to
confusing error messages,
(the "normal" warn_changed_key() blurb is emitted) e.g. when the
presented host key and
known hosts both match but there is no matching RR.
Further, if VerifyHostKeyDNS and StrictHostKeyChecking are

userdel without -r switch
Hi
how do I tell with user type to use userdel with -r short of using exec type?
i have a user account called `foo''
so i created a test puppet file local to the system called test.pp
# cat test.pp
user {"foo":
ensure => absent,
managehome => true,
}
when I apply it on solaris or linux the userdel does not use the `-r'' switch

puppet repository from puppetlabs
Hi All,
Is there a ubuntu repository managed by puppetlabs? I am using lucid
and latest puppet package it offers is 0.25.4.
I could of course just download source, or a deb from debian or newer
ubuntu, or get it using gem.
But would be nice if there is a PPA available for lucid, cuz it would
work nicely with routine upgrade.
puppetdashboard worked nicely with the puppet labs ppa deb

tftpd server S not responding
I have a tftpd server S running on centos 7 and managed by systemd
It is not respoding to A server which is sending the tftp read request RRQ.
I do see the RRQ packets coming from A to S, but S never responds back from
a different port Y to A
So this part is working fine

But I do not see any attempts to
