2 SSH questions
I am away from my office for the week. In Sacramento for the IEEE 802.1 interim meeting (for anyone in the neighborhood...). And I am working on SSH with my Centos install(s). 1) For right now I am using my XP drive with Tectia client. I have SSHed into my Centos server using password method and uploaded my public key and such. I see everything there. I think. I then delete all

Viewing cetificate details
Hi, I don't see any way to view the details of a certificate once it is generated. Having such a capability would be very handy for debugging purposes to check what constraints, principals, and validity interval are associated with a given cert. -- Iain Morgan

Weird issue with editing data.
Hi all. Ive got a small CRUD app that is giving me some weird isuses. If I add/create an entry that works fine, the data goes into the db. I can later show the data, but when I edit it, no data is displayed in the form for me to edit. Here is the bits from the controller. def new @kb=Knowledgebase.new end def create @kb= Knowledgebase.new(params[:kb]) if @kb.save

[LLVMdev] AMD IL Code Generator Backend for OpenCL
I am proud to announce that AMD is Open Sourcing AMDIL Code Generator for LLVM 2.9. While this version is not for uptake into LLVM mainline, it does build and is compatible with LLVM 2.9. This is the first step of the process, so I know there will be issues that show up. In the next few months, we will be providing more unit tests and an LLVM 3.0 compatible version, and finally a TOT version for

Support for "ssh-rsa-sha256" and "ssh-dss-sha256" ?‏
Functionality request for supporting Digital Signatures for RSA and DSS Public Key Algorithms in alignment with NIST SP800-131A. I know Suite B Algorithms and x509 SSH Extension Algorithms are supported, but not a

Anyone with RedHat Subscription?
Does Anyone with a RedHat subscription able to give a hint as to what the solution to the following knowledgebase article is: https://access.redhat.com/solutions/2801051 I'm having a similar issue with an SFP on a Centos host, and am searching for a way to view Optical RX/TX Power on the SFP. From the switch side, I'm not seeing any RX Power from the Centos host. Thanks in advance

Possible issue with stdio forwarding
Greetings, I've been doing a little testing with the stdio forwarding support added in recent snapshots and have encountered one possible issue. First, I should say that this feature generally seems to work. However, I haven't been able to get it to work when connecting to a server running SSH.COM's product. The config file I am using is fairly simple: Host sfe1 LogLevel debug3

New Forum
How do people feel about eliminating the list serv in favor of the forum? Or limiting the list serv to news? I have one vendor I work with that has a knowledgebase, a forum, and two mailing lists - with much overlap of topics. It is truly enough to drive you totally crazy. I'm not suggesting anything. Just bringing it up. Geoff

[squid-users] squid3 / debian stable / please update to 3.4.14
Hai, You can very easy upgrade to 3.5.12 on Jessie. Add sid to your sources.list, or better in : /etc/apt/sources.list.d/debian-sid.list Only the deb-src line is needed. Now apt-get update # install dependecies. apt-get build-dep squid # get and build source. apt-get source squid -b if you missing something, get that package first, build it, install it and do above again. !! thing to

OCFS and multipathing
I've got my RAC cluster running pretty smoothly now (thanks again for all the help so far), but I only have single connections between the servers and the RAID array. The servers each have two Qlogic HBAs, and I'd like to find out if there's any reasonable way to implement multipathing. The platform is RHEL 3, and Red Hat's knowledgebase indicates that they strongly recommend

MultipleUsersOnConnection, WTSE
There is a new regedit file in Samba 2.0.6 for Windows Terminal Server Edition that sets a MultipleUsersOnConnection value to 1. I can't find any documentation about this regedit in the source package or using a search of the Samba website. In Micro$oft's knowledgebase articles Q190162, Q233082, Q231798 and Q191370, it would appear that the value should be set to 0 rather than 1 for the
