icmp: w.x.y.z unreachable need to defrag (mtu 296)
Hi, I have a setup that consist of 2 firewalls connected over dialup and PPP. Each side of the ppp are protected by shorewall. One side of the PPP masquerades everything not addressed to the local network to its eth0 (the net). fw1 <---- ppp (dialup) -----> fw0 <----- NET When making an http request to a site on the Internet from the machine not directly connected to the net (fw1), the

is a self signed certificate always invalid the first time?
So i?m using dovecot, and i created a self signed certificate with mkcert.sh based on dovecot-openssl.cnf. The name in there matches my mail server. The first time it connects in mac mail however, it says the certificate is invalid and another server might pretend to be me etc. I then have the option of trusting it. Is this normal behaviour? Will it always be invalid if it?s not signed by a

strange fencing behavior
I have 10 servers in a cluster running Debian Etch with 2.6.26-bpo.2 with a backport of ocfs2-tools-1.4.1-1 I'm using AoE to export the drives from a Debian Lenny server in the cluster. My problem is if I mount the ocfs2 partition on the server that is exporting it via AoE it fences the entire cluster. Looking at the logs exporting the ocfs2 partition doesn't give much information...

Stroring and extracting AICs from an ARIMA model using a nested loop
Hello I am trying to extract AICs from an ARIMA estimation with different combinations of p & q ( p =0,1,2,3 and q=0,1.2,3). I have tried using the following code unsucessfully. Can anyone help? code: storage1 <- numeric(16) for (p in 0:3){ ? ? for (q in 0:3){ ? ? ? storage1[p]? <- arima(x,order=c(p,0,q), method="ML")} } storage1$aic [[alternative HTML version deleted]]

Stroring and extracting AICs from an ARIMA model using a nested loop
I am nowaware that I should not post this type of questions on this group. However, Iwould like to have some clarifications related to the response you've?alreadyprovided. The code you provided yields accurate results, however I still haveissues grasping the loop process in case 1 & 2. In case1,?the use of?"p+1" and "q+1" is still blurry tome? Likewise "0L"

vanilla rsync 3.0.9 hangs after transferring ~2000 files
Hello rsync folks I'm trying to use rsync for backing up our servers. This mostly works extremely well, with no problems. However, 1 server is giving me a lot of trouble. It has a directory with (currently) 734088 files in it, and every time I try to backup this dir, rsync hangs after transferring roughly 2000 files. Sometimes it's around 1800, sometimes it's over 2100 (I think), but
