Radio? Sure! Internet Radio Player support in Wine?
http://www.radiosure.com/
Is it possible to get this working under Wine? I'm running the latest version and get the following when I try to run the "portable" version they have on their website:
Code:
wine RadioSure.exe
wine: Call from 0x7b844453 to unimplemented function ntoskrnl.exe.IoAttachDevice, aborting

Unless you want to implement missing features you can't fix it.
To remove driver - just remove the driver file "*.sys" from windows/system32 directory. A cleaner way would be to disable it in registry or remove it's complete section.

I don't get it: if an app crashes, I'm used to debug it from shell. Users can do as they did till 1.1.20. I think no one has asked for a buggy feature.

Screen goes black when I start apps
Everything was working fine, then after an update, it no longer works. I am using Fedora 7. I am unsure of the Wine version. Any of the Wine apps cause the screen to blank when I start them. I can press alt+f4 to close and get my Fedora desktop back. How do I get my Wine apps to work again?

Serial Port Data Slicer applications
I'm trying to run some Windows programs that rely on using the serial port with a data slicer interface and a .SYS or .VXD file that under Windows is necessary to transfer the information from the serial port to the application... At least I think this is how it works.
In Wine these apps are complaining that they can't find the .SYS/.VXD files. In Windows these .SYS and .VXD files are

Win92 Radio Scanner program
I'm trying to run Win92 http://www.starrsoft.com/freeware/win92/ with my radio scanner and a serial port adapter with standard level converter MAX232 chip. It's a "portable" application that doesn't require installation under Windows, but it's just not running at all under Wine, here is the terminal output, I'm using 1.1.21:
Code:

"err:winedevice:ServiceMain driver L"MountMgr" failed to load"
Whenever I start an application using Wine, it takes very long until something
happens. In addition, the line "err:winedevice:ServiceMain driver L"MountMgr"
failed to load" is printed on the terminal.
I also have very little luck using Wine, even Applications marked as silver or
higher in the AppDB seldom work, I think it's related. Is there any way to
fix it?

What distro? Is this 64-bit/32-bit? Can you remove / rename ~/.wine directory and try again?

winedevice.exe
Hi!
I was just wondering what this winedevice.exe actually does. I usually have uTorrent running in Wine all day, and sometimes winedevice.exe starts to use the full CPU. But if I just kill it, everything continues to work just fine... [Question]

Winedevice.exe has caused a serious problem and Flash 8
The program winedevice.exe has caused a serious problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvience.
I'm running Macromedia Flash 8 when this error occurs.
I'm also unable to run the "Uninstall Wine Software" program.
When I click it, nothing happens.
This happens with wine 1.1.22 and 1.1.23.
Any ideas?
Thx!

Unexpected dirty buffer encountered at do_get_write_access:598
Hello,
I am not subscribed to this mailing list. My apologies if non-members

I have a Linux-2.4.19pre10aa4 computer and I have seen an error message
"Unexpected dirty buffer encountered at do_get_write_access:598 (03:05
blocknr 0)" appears in the log.
With a little bit of research I found that this message is printed from

IO error encountered - skipping file deletion
Hello list,
I'm posting some info here hoping it might help some others. I searched
around a bit before I guessed (correctly) at the cause of my problem.
I'm currently using cwrsync (rsync 2.6.2) to backup data from a Windows
XP machine to a Windows 2000 machine. Unfortunately the boss won't let
me use Linux here. My process worked fine for at least a month but
recently had started

IO error encountered -- skipping file deletion
Hi list,
I have a Windows server backing up to a Linux server that continuously
gets 'IO error encountered -- skipping file deletion' in the receiver
log file. Could someone enlighten me where and what this error is
referring to. I have tried various options, like using --delete or
--delete-during. Still the same problem.
Is it on the sender or receiver side, or a timeout encountered
