DSA key not accepted on CentOS even after enabling
Hello,
I have some users that connect to a server with their DSA key that is of
type ssh-dss.
I'm migrating (installing as new) the server where they connect to CentOS 8
+ updates.
I was not able to connect with the keys to this new server even after
having added, as found in several internet pages, this directive at the end
of /etc/ssh/sshd_config of the CentOS 8 server:
# Accept also DSA

DC site replication issue ?
All,
I'm migrating a samba3 domain to a new samba4 AD version 4.5.5. Did a fair amount of testing on isolated vlans including two sites and replication between two domain controllers.
I'm now rolling out DCs intended to become production shortly. One is in Chicago, the other in NY, and each is configured in its own timezone with NTP synching up.
I am looking at a potential replication

no mutual signature algorithm with RSA user certs client 7.8, server 7.4
Hi,
One of our users who is running an OS (I think it's the latest beta
macOS 10.14.1) with ssh version "OpenSSH_7.8p1, LibreSSL 2.7.3" is
unable to use our user SSH RSA certificates to authenticate to our
servers (which are running "OpenSSH_7.4p1, OpenSSL 1.0.2k-fips 26 Jan

We see this error on the client side:

Can't read xlsx file into R. Seem, Seem to have XLConnect loaded.
I have spent hours on R in Windows 7. Just installed 2 days ago so the R
package should be current.
Currently I am using the RGui (64-bit) for Windows.
I can not read an Excel file into R from my computer. Have hours on this.
Completely crazy!!
I have the XLConnect package loaded. I think it is loaded because when I

OL8 (RHEL8), ssh-rsa turned off using update-crypto-policies, receiving an openssh error that I don't seem to be able to override in my personal .ssh/config file
I'm using the most up to date version of openssh on OL8 that I can patch to
(OpenSSH_8.0p1), I've used update-crypto-policies to disallow the use of
ssh-rsa, but apparently am connecting to a host that uses ssh-rsa. I've
tried adding
HostkeyAlgorithms +ssh-rsa,ssh-rsa-cert-v01 at openssh.com
PubkeyAcceptedAlgorithms +ssh-rsa,ssh-rsa-cert-v01 at openssh.com
or

SSH fail to login due to hang over after authenticated.
Hi OpenSSH,
I encountered that SSH will hang over after I input the password.
Could you help show me how to resolve this problem? Thanks for your
help.
Please find the ssh debug info and my ssh version as below.

The crypto policies are system-wide to disallow any software (using system crypto) from using unsafe/weak/unwanted algorithm, which is exactly what you are trying to do.
You?ll need to allow that system-wide by default, unfortunately. Luckily you can then disallow ssh-rsa in ssh-config by default and only enable it for a few hosts.
The correct solution is to throw whatever requires it to the

SSH fail to login due to hang over after authenticated.
Can you confirm if the problem is specific to the ssh client, or the ssh
server? (Try to ssh into the same server from different client, and to some
different server from the same client)

Lol! Our Security team sent out new policies that dictated turning off
ssh-rsa, so *we did. turns out our Security Team doesn't necessarily
follow their own dictates, so here we are. Our Linux team says that the
correct way to turn off ssh-rsa is via the crypto policies, not via direct
manipulation of the /etc/ssh/ssh_config, and I guess that's probably the
absolute best way to do so,
