[LLVMdev] Would it be possible to have the LLVM be seen as an arch for the kernel to compile against?
I posted this question on the llvm channel on irc. I am new to all of this. And I only found out about LLVA as a result of the irc. And please forgive my erroneous terminology. So let me try this as best I can. I want to know if the code of LLVA/LLVM can be used as a virtual processor in configuring the linux kernel? Maybe you have already encountered this and possibly accomplished it as

[LLVMdev] Just how much can llvm be used?
First let me admit that I'm completely uninformed here! 1. Will llvm produce errors if llc is used to compile itself? 2. Will make produce subsequent errors if compiled first by llc/llvm? 3. Can llc be used to compile the entire Linux toolchain? Shingoshi --

httpd with SNI
Hi! I am currently publishing some web services on a Centos 5.3 server on my office using the included apache httpd. They are available from the Internet, and they require validation (username/password). I would like to publish them all under https, so the passwords won't travel unencrypted, but then all my sites use the same certificate on apache httpd. The solution to this is using an

Apache HTTPD not picking up environment variables.
I'm trying to install DB2 on a CentOS 7 server. The problem I'm seeing is that the Apache httpd server fails to pick up the db2 environment variables. On an older version running under CentOS 5 this was done by inserting the following lines into the httpd start script in /etc/sysconfig/httpd: if test -f /db2home/db2inst1/sqllib/db2profile; then . /db2home/db2inst1/sqllib/db2profile fi

httpd listening only on IPv6 interface on CentOS 7
I?ve held off reporting this since I thought it might just be some kind of fluke, but I?ve seen it now on three different boxes. The symptom is that the stock configuration of Apache only listens for IPv6 connections: $ netstat -na | grep :80.*LISTEN tcp6 0 0 :::80 :::* LISTEN You should see a second line there for IPv4, but you don't:

can i get .spec file for apache httpd of centos?
Hi All, Currently my system is using httpd 2.2.27. As there were many Vulnerability fixes released under 2.2.29, I would like to upgrade the Apache httpd. My system is having CentOS 6.5. I checked on CentOS Repos using yum but could not find the latest httpd rpm from there. So I am building the httpd rpm from the source tar ball downloaded from apache site. I am able to build the rpm successfully

Logrotate in CentOS 5.4 more brutal (to httpd at least) than in 5.3?
I've just updated a few CentOS 5.3 servers to 5.4. One of them were a Apache Webserver. Doing a diff/check on the new ".rpmnew" config files that are made, I saw that the logrotate command for apache was changed. In 5.3 it did a reload, but in 5.4 it does a hard kill: CentOS 5.3: /var/log/httpd/*log { missingok notifempty sharedscripts postrotate

Centos 7 httpd Permission problems with Postfixadmin
More joy with Centos 7. I am having permission problems with Postfixadmin. I am installing as I have in my notes I did in Centos6 and it is not working. I untar Postfixadmin into /usr/share. The owner is root:root (I even tried root:apache). My postfixadmin.conf file has: alias /mailadmin /usr/share/postfixadmin <Directory "/usr/share/postfixadmin"> AllowOverride

httpd userdir problem
I'm running httpd-2.4.6-31.el7.centos.1.x86_64 under CentOS-7 (kernel 3.10.0-229.14.1.el7.x86_64). I cannot get the httpd userdir facility working; when I try to access localhost/Menloe I get the message "You don't have permission to access /Menloe on this server." I see in /var/log/httpd/error_log "Symbolic link not allowed or link target not accessible:

Need help with httpd.conf not rendering cgi or php files
I got this working perfectly at home - what should be exact same setups- - Fresh install of CentOS 5 32-bit from DVD - yum update & upgrade - Reboot - yum install mysql-server - Download phpmyadmin and bugzilla from their respective home pages - Move both to /var/www/html, naming the extracted phpmyadmin directory as phpmyadmin, the same with bugzilla - Copy my working httpd.conf file from
