Frequency of Data
Hello,
just another problem in R, maybe it's simple to solve for you. I didn't find
a solution up to now, but I'm convinced that I'm not the only one who
has/had a similar problem. Maybe there's a ready-made function in R?
The prob:
I've imported a CSV-file into R with 1000 dates of an observed event
(there's only information of the date. When there happend no

mergeing a large number of large .csvs
Dear R help;
I'm currently trying to combine a large number (about 30 x 30) of large
.csvs together (each at least 10000 records). They are organized by plots,
hence 30 X 30, with each group of csvs in a folder which corresponds to the
plot. The unmerged csvs all have the same number of columns (5). The fifth
column has a different name for each csv. The number of rows is different.

Opus vs. Vorbis
Hi all,
I've been looking at opus lately as a replacement to vorbis and it sure
seems to me that, at least on paper, it is the 'next generation'
streaming codec. Has anyone been using opus as a streaming codec to
Icecast? If so, how do the following general characteristics compare to
vorbis?
+ Quality
+ Latency
+ Bandwidth
+ Performance (on stream client and Icecast server)

MUAs creating different "Sent" folders
While our webmail installation creates "Sent" as a Sent-Items Folder,
Apple Mail creates "Sent Messages".
Is there a way of "mapping" foldernames e.g.
map "Sent Messages" to "Sent"
map "Deletes Messages" to "Trash"
and so on?

Xlist in userdb, Foldernames with whitespace?
Hello,
i use dovecot 2.1.7 and exported all my XLIST FolderSettings to userdb
Whole Story is here:
http://dovecot.org/list/dovecot/2013-March/089209.html
This is all successful, but there is one problem left.
I use lines like this to realize individual XLIST Foldernames in usedb:
namespace/inbox/mailbox=Sent namespace/inbox/mailbox/Sent/name=Sent
namespace/inbox/mailbox/Sent/auto=subscribe

Broken foldernames in mbox
I have a mbox-User with some crazy foldernames:
-rw------- 1 vmail vmail 19238931 17. Dez 2011 Foo & Co
-rw------- 1 vmail vmail 82415 19. Nov 22:06 Foo &- Co
Dovecot can't handle that correctly:
# dovecot mailbox list -u user
Foo & Co
Foo & Co
dsyncing those folders produces some errors:
dsync(awad): Error: Mailboxes don't have unique GUIDs:

Disallow certain characters in foldernames?
Is there a way to do this in dovecot? Similar to how you can
When using Maildir and Thunderbird, if a user tries to a create folder
named "test.1" or "test/1", dovecot will happily create a folder called
"test", with a subfolder called "1".
Worse, the top level folder "test" is greyed out, which is how
Thunderbird displays a folder that can

doveadm mailbox: rc=0 on error
Hi all,
I use "doveadm mailbox mutf7 -7 $folder" to convert imap foldernames to UTF-8.
If $foldername is not mUTF-7 encoded, doveadm returns
"doveadm(root): Error: Mailbox name not valid mUTF-7: $folder"
This errormessage is printed on stderr but the returncode of doveadm is zero.
I tested with dovecot-2.0.* and dovecot-2.1.*
# all right:
$ doveadm mailbox mutf7 -7

First letter in filenames missing
I am new to Linux and Samba, but I have resently started experimenting by installing a Mandrake 9.0 on an old PC. I am trying to use this as a file server accessible from my Window 98 SE PC.
So far I have managed to install Samba and the Linux PC is visible in the Windows Network Neighborhood, but files can not be accessed. I think this is a password issue, that I can solve by reading a bit and

Don't know if anyone found this already (couldn't see anything in the
archives about it) but maybe this is useful to someone else who finds
the same problem.
When following the instructions for setting up expire on v1.2+ for mysql
backend at http://wiki.dovecot.org/Plugins/Expire I got the following error:
