Release Note translation for CentOS 5.3
Hi guys,
are you all still with us on CentOS? Good ...
As you may already have seen Red Hat has released version 5.3 - and
we're busy rebuilding it.
As always we would like to have the Release Notes translated to as many
languages as possible. So if you do not see your language on
<http://wiki.centos.org/Manual/ReleaseNotes/CentOS5.2>
it would be more than fantastic if you would

That time of year again ...
Hey,
another release is getting ready to be done and - as the last times
- we want to have translated release notes on the wiki.
First: I would like to apologize for taking that long to put the
translator's names on the wiki. Real life somehow came in the way
shortly after the last release and after that I just completely forgot
about that. But all names are now there.
So: We have

page name change suggestion for wiki admin
This page for Chinese
http://wiki.centos.org/Manuals/ReleaseNotes/CentOS5.2/Chinese
It is better to name this page to traditional_Chinese. I will do the Simple_Chinese page for this one. These two different Chinese languages, traditional Chinese is used in Taiwan China and simple Chinese used in Mainland.
Thank you admins.

Release Notes for CentOS 5.6
Hi,
this release has taken quite a long time (probably too long), but it is
nearing it's release (I think I already had this excuse once before).
Which means that it is Release Notes time! And that we're in need of
translators for the Release Notes!
http://wiki.centos.org/Manuals/ReleaseNotes/CentOS5.6 is what's there
already, so if you want to translate these pages, go ahead.

Release Notes translations
Morning guys,
CentOS 5.1 is nearing its release. And we're going to have Release Notes
for it.
This time the release notes will live on wiki.centos.org, not on the
ISOs itself.
See <http://wiki.centos.org/Manuals/ReleaseNotes/CentOS5.1>
If anybody of you has some time over the weekend and is interested to
translate these notes into a language which is *not*

4.7!
Ooops,
we did it again ...
This release (4.7) has the first release notes on the wiki for a CentOS
4 release. And as always we could use some people to translate those :)
We didn't find that many problems within QA, so the release notes should
now be fairly complete, with limitied changes to them.
ISo if you are interested and willing (you are, aren't you?), this is
the place to edit:

A problem about upgrade centos5.2
hi,
i made a mistake that i used centos5.4 i686 to upgrade the centos 5.2 x86_64,which runs on a server whose cpu is Xeon. The server seems to need CentOS X86_64 version. Should i use the?CentOS 5.4 X86_64 disk to upgrade the CentOS 5.4 i 686?
Ps.I urgently need to upgrade it because the glibc x86_64 conflicts with the i686 one....It drives me crazy and i am hitting my head against the wall...
