php-5.0.4-0.iva.0.centos4.src.rpm (built for x86_64 and i386) in CentOS Plus
All,
Ignacio Vazquez-Abrams has created php-5.0.4-0.iva.0.centos4.src.rpm
that works with CentOS-4. After testing this version of php, we have
decided to include it in CentOS-Plus for CentOS-4. It is available for
i386 and x86_64.
There are several files in each distro:
x86_64:
php-5.0.4-0.iva.0.centos4.x86_64.rpm
php-devel-5.0.4-0.iva.0.centos4.x86_64.rpm

PHP and PHP53
Greetings,
We have someone requesting the use of Wordpress 3.3.1. It requires PHP 5.2
minimum.
Currently, our machine is running CentOS 5.7.
What are the issues/concerns in upgrading from PHP 5.1 (the current PHP
rpms) to PHP53?
Much thanks,

SugarCRM pro and PHP 5.2
We're looking at SugarCRM 5, but they strongly recommend PHP 5.2.4.
Looking around I see that a few individuals are maintaining repos for
CentOS, but I'd prefer to get it from one of the larger repositories.
Anyone out there using http://www.jasonlitka.com/yum-repository/ ?
Any idea when PHP 5.2x will be available?

RPM questions about trying to build php-ldap --with-ldap-sasl
Hello CentOS People,
I'm trying to build the php-5.0.4-5 subpackage 'php-ldap' from the
centosplus repo --with-ldap-sasl. Strangly the stock php-ldap package
is linked with libsasl2 et al but the ldap_sasl_bind PHP function
is not available which leads me to conclude that it was not built
--with-ldap-sasl.
To this end, can anyone help with the following questions:

recommended repo for php 5.2.3 +
Good day all,
I have been searching on google for the recommended repo for php 5.2.3
+ for centos... I saw at one point it was in the testing repo, but was
pulled due to no one testing it.
Is there a recommended repo that people feel is safe for a CentOS 5.x
to get php 5.23 + ?
I know i can compile and install, but i like to keep as "vanilla" as
possible.
Thanks in advance.

[PATCH] Set KEYTAB_FILE=/etc/libvirt/krb5.tab in node-config
Yesterday on irc :
18:12 < arthurc> "Mar 09 17:08:01 Retrieving keytab:" :) and my host appears
in ovirt (still unavailable but it's better). I defined in ovirt-awake :
KEYTAB_FILE=/etc/libvirt/krb5.tab
19:04 < mcpierce> arthurc: kk - the value ought to be moved to
/etc/sysconfig/node-config. I'll cut a patch and send it out.
Is this ok ?

[RFC] Adding a -memeq-lib-function flag to allow the user to specify a memeq function.
Thanks for the suggestions Hal,
So if I understand correctly, you're recommending we add a module flag
<https://llvm.org/docs/LangRef.html#module-flags-metadata> to LLVM,
something like:
!llvm.module.flags = !{..., !123}
!123 = !{i32 1, !"memeq_lib_function", !"user_memeq"}
I've given it a try in the following patch: https://reviews.llvm.org/D56311

[RFC] Adding a -memeq-lib-function flag to allow the user to specify a memeq function.
Hi all,
We'd like to suggest *adding a -memeq-lib-function* flag to allow the user
to specify a `*memeq()*` function to improve string equality check
performance.
Right now, when llvm encounters a *string equality check*, e.g. `if
(memcmp(a, b, s) == 0)`, it tries to expand to an equality comparison if
`s` is a small compile-time constant, and falls back on calling `memcmp()`
else.

There isn't package for httpd-2.0.52-41.ent.6.centos4 [centos announce list from 12.11.2009]
Hi.
There isn't a package httpd-2.0.52-41.ent.6.centos4 for centos4 in
UPDATES repo. There is only a httpd-2.0.52-41.ent.6.centos4.src.rpm in
SRC [http://mirror.centos.org/centos/4/updates/SRPMS/?C=M;O=D]
This is probably a bug. Package httpd doesn't build ?
