similar to: How do I determine if I have to rebuild rpms for 5.3?

I found a src.rpm for 1.1.5-1 for fc8 (not rh8!). I was able to rebuild it on my Centos build system. The rpms are identified as 1.1.5-1.i386.rpm, no el5 or other identification was placed in the files. I don't see how to control this when you rebuild from an existing src.rpm. I am trying to build Miredo 1.1.5 (http://www.remlab.net/miredo/devel.shtml.en) I have followed the rpmbuild instructions from: http://www.owlriver.com/tips/non-root/, and have the miredo source in ~/build/miredo-1.1.5. I run ./configure (as the INSTALL text file tells me to do) and get the error: checking for Judy.h usablity... no checking for Judy.h presence... no checking for Judy.h...

Is the Miredo server available for Centos? A quick check of 'yum install miredo*" came up empty. I have miredo for Fedora 20, but I want the server to be Centos... thank you.

On delving deeper into Miredo support, it seems that Miredo Server is a separate program from the Miredo client/relay. And that there is no Miredo Server available for Centos 6. Not in EPEL 6, or repoforge. So far the maintainer of Miredo for Fedora/EPEL has not reponded to a query on its status for EPEL 6. I have to ask on repoforge about miredo-server. Miredo is run as a server from the command line: /usr/sbin/miredo The man page says the signal SIGTERM stops the server. How do I send SIGTERM to the server? Or SIGHUP, as I want to make a change to the config file. And once I get this as I want it, how do I run it at system boot?

I am bringing up a Miredo server and relay on my new iPv6 network. I have been reading the RFC and the man pages. One of the many vague points is the udp port used by the Miredo client in relay mode. Is it 'random' or is it 3545? How do I find out what it is? Plus how do I set up my server so that the Miredo server and client relay start as part of the system boot? They do now work

So I need python 2.5.1, and all of its dependecies. And 2.5.1 is at least in FC8. So this leads to wanting to try to do the update right via yum, thus needing a repo. Does such a thing exist?
