AgentLogin
Hi, We recently installed asterisk too replace our office PABX, however we are finding it hard to get documentation on the way Agents login. In the agents.conf we have setup a user of agent => 1003,4444,Test. In the extentions.conf file we have added in exten => 9,1,AgentLogin. We can dial 9 and key in the uid and password which logs us in. The asterisk CLI confirms it is login, but when

linux install of RR
Hi. I''ve installed ruby, gems, rails into a user directory according to the installation instructions (for linux). I haven''t setup any path information nor setup any symlinks or any compilation options. When I try rails, I find that the system accesses controllers but that the corresponding views are not displayed. I wonder if there is something that I forgot to configure

em watchdog timeout on UP, 6-stable
Updated my Athlon-xp 6-stable system last night, got an em watchdog timeout for the first time a few hours later, during a fairly high-traffic period. System is UP but does have device apic in the config. Any chance this is the recent race condition? Workaround? ifconfig em0 down, ifconfig em0 up seemed to cure it, at least for the moment. Thanks, Barney Wolff -- Barney Wolff I never

Active directory and winbind RID/SID to uid and gid maping across several linux servers
We are using a windows server 2003 active directory as our single sign on server. I have been able to get our RHEL4U6 servers to authenticate with active directory. My concern is that the RID mapping to unix uid/gid range (15000-20000) is stored locally on each machine in a tdb database. So far all of the servers have produced the same mapping, but I do not think it is guarantied. I think the

Multiple Hexbinplots in 2 columns with a Single Categorical Variable
Dear Ladies and Gentlemen, I have a fairly large database (N=13,000) and a single main categorical discriminator between the groups. I want to look at the time course of a number of continuous biochemical variables over chronologic age. Therefore I believe I need to prepare hexbinplots in two columns with simple regression lines in them (with useOuterStrips (in library(latticeExtra) if

Execute some steps if a file isn't present
Hi all, I''ve come quite far with my puppet setup, but a few times I got this problem: I want to execute a few things if a file isn''t present on the puppet client. For example: I want puppet to check if the mod_passenger apache module exists. If not: installl passenger from gem. Execute the installer, copy the config file and enable the module with a2enmod. What would be the

Running Under Windows
Hello, I write a commercial marine navigation and tidal current prediction application for Windows 3.1 (compiled with Borland c++ 3.1). I am considering releasing this or a variant of this under something like Linux. My goal is to continue to develop bells and whistles but to share the load with others. No particular commercial goals. In order to get recreational sailboat racers to use it I

what do you think about write.table(... qmethod = "excel")?
Last week one of our clients reported trouble with a csv file I generated with write.table. He said that columns with quotes for character variables were rejected by their data importer, which was revised to match the way Microsoft Excel uses quotation marks in character variables. I explained to them that quoted character variables are virtuous and wise, of course, but they say Microsoft Excel

CTI in ActiveRecord
I search an plugin or gem, but don''t find nothing satisfactory. I believe to be stranger a technology that nails the DRY, have that create you vary equal tables, instead of using inheritance. Exists an soluction for this? I want a solution similar to this: create_table :people |t| do t.column :name t.column :address end create_table :customer |t| do t.column :person_id
