Your title has been truncated so nobody knows what option is missing. Please repost. What system are you using that requires you to run Firefox under wine instead of a native version of Firefox?

Advanced Persistent Threats; Why aren't we confining Firefox and Evolution?
Moat of the advanced persistent threats (APT) are initiated via e-mail. Opening an attachment or clicking on a web link starts the process. Why isn't Firefox and Evolution confined with SELinux policy in a way that APT can't damage the rest of the system? Why are we not sandboxing these two apps with SELinux? I've discovered some guidance for sandboxing Firefox using the

Updating firefox after a long time yum-excluded it and having installed it from .rpm
Hello, I've been stuck for a while with an old version of firefox, installed from local .rpm (I know.. I should have downgraded using yum, instead) and added a exclude=firefox to the relevant .repo file. I did that after a yum-update has brought firefox 52+, and all add-ons were deprecated because of their new add-on scheme. Today that all the add-ons I need are available, I've tried

No sound after latest Firefox update (firefox-78.3.0-1.el6.centos.x86_64)
With Firefox updated to firefox-78.3.0-1.el6.centos.x86_64, I cannot get sound from Firefox. I've tried restarting pulseaudio, also logging out and logging back in. No help. Other A/V apps work just fine. Downgrading to firefox-68.12.0-1.el6.centos.x86_64 makes sound work again. For now, I've excluded version firefox-78.3.0-1 from yum updates. Anyone else seeing this? Any hints? -- Bob

Hi all I am using CentOS 4.3 and my default language is Japanese. I am using firefox with Japanese language. I installed firefox i386 1.5.0.5-0.el4.1.centos4 update 15 M on my computer via yum yesterday. CentOS 4.3 has been acting strange! Japanese language on firefix has gone and English seems to be default language on firefox. I simply removed firefox 1.5.0.5-0.el4.1.centos4 and

Firefox 2.0 on CentOS 4.4
I realize that CentOS 4.4 is all about stability but I would still like to install Firefox 2.0 on it, since I am sharing my Firefox project across OSs on a multi-boot machine and the other OSs have Firefox 2.0. Is it possible to get CentOS 4.4 to work properly with Firefox 2.0 and, if so, does anybody know of a CentOS 4.4 repository which has a Firefox 2.0 RPM available.
