The situation is that some chinese programs (like eMule) display Chinese character very nicely while some others can not. Dear all Some programs in windows need GLOBAL IME japanese (jamondo, msjaime or imejpn). These programs don't work under WINE because it seems it has not this IME included. Is it posible to see Japanese character in WINE? Many thanks.

Attempting to get wine 1.1.16 working with Eve online, which requires the corefonts library. When 'sh winetricks corefonts' is entered, a spam of errors (below) appears. There are three fonts in c:\windows\fonts: stxingkai.ttf simsun.ttf and simyou.ttf If an application does not specify a font, then stxingkai.ttf is loaded in it to show the text. In my attempts to get Fractal Mapper (http://appdb.winehq.org/appview.php?iAppId=3117) to work I am a bit confused about the behaviour of text and fonts. The application's documentation says you should be able to use any TrueType fonts. I see a menu with the fonts I have on the system. If I select one of them and enter some text I see the text as I enter it, but when I finish it disappears.
