Hello, I installed Stronghold Kingdoms from Steam in my main wine prefix, I had to install dotnet20 via winetricks for it to run, after letting it update it just keeps looping over & over with a window that says "Checking for updates." it closes quickly then loops. HI Trying to install Divx9 using winetricks. Using Ubuntu 8.10 and have cabextract installed, and my graphics card has it's driver installed (NVIDIA GEforce FX 5200). Installation seems to go ok but does not re-start machine and there appear to be error messages in the terminal window, despite the fact that it says DivX is isntalled. Greetings, during installation of Oblivion - Game of the Year Edition GOTY in German on wine-1.3.21 the installation asks for inserting Disc 0 with the file data3.cab. Well, there is no such data3.cab on the DVD. Workaround for me was booting to WinXP, installing Oblivion there, booting to Gentoo, mounting the WinXP partition and copying the directory Oblivion to a suitable place in ~/.wine.
