I searched for forum for something about this but couldn''t find
anything.
For example I have this in my view: (you enter start/end dates from
dropdowns, pick a category and a report is generated.)

Why getFunction() of CallGraphNode return NULL function?
Hi all,
I want to find all the called functions in each function, thus I iterate
the calledFunctions of each CallGraphNode in CallGraph as follow:
for (CallGraph::iterator it = CG->begin(); it != CG->end(); ++it) {
CallGraphNode* node = it->second;
for (CallGraphNode::iterator it2 = node->begin(); it2 != node->end();
++it2) {
Function* calledFunc =

Why getFunction() of CallGraphNode return NULL function?
Dear Ashutosh,
Thank you, I can handle some indirect callSites by getFunction() of
InvokInst and CallInst.
However, when I am handling C++ programs, I found the calls of member
functions are converted
to some strange indirect calls. For example:
table->truncate(sysTransaction); // from mysql
are translated to the next complex llvm IR:
_ZN8Database20getSystemTransactionEv.exit: ;

Creating ToDo List App
Hi,
New Rails user here trying to create a basic todolist app in rails 3.2.6
and running into some foreign key issues. Here''s what I did...
I generated scaffolds
list title:string & task description:text listname:string
Next, in order to link the listname for Tasks and the list titles in the
Lists I generated a migration file which looks like this

Inserting rows into linking table
Hi,
I have two objects:
Contacts
Lists
I want to be able to add multiple contacts to multiple lists.
I''ve created a linking table and a form that allows me to select the
contacts using checkboxes, but I''m having some problems with the
controller and model.
I receive the following error message when I submit the form:

problems with migrations in sql server
Is anyone using migrations with a SQL Server database who might be able to
lend me a hand? I''ve used migrations with MySql in the past and haven''t
run into any issues so forgive When I run rake migrate nothing is actually
getting updated in my database. I created a migration using
./script/generate migration AddFooTable and updated the migration to look as

method from string?
I am sure this is doable but I can''t find a specific example and my
brain is frazzled.
Basically, I am doing a whole load of in-place editing and need
methods to support the updates.
Here is what I am doing now:
def set_blog_website
faq = Faq.find(params[:id])
faq.blog_website = params[:value]
faq.save!
@faq = faq

end
Surely there is a generic way I can

SELECT MAX
How does one do a SELECT MAX query in rails? I''ve searched and searched and
tried lots of things with no luck.
I want to implement "SELECT MAX(column_name) from table_name
and have it return the maximum value from column_name. I just need to get
that one value, not the whole object...
Thanks for any ideas...

netbios name = SAMBA1
server role = active directory domain controller
allow dns updates = nonsecure

Log question
development.log contains quite a few SELECTS on system tables like
COLUMNS. Wouldn''t it be more efficient to cache this info?
I''m also wondering about strings like "[4;35;1m". What''s their purpose
and is it possible to get rid of them? They look like screen coordinates
and makes no sense in a text file.

Has_many :through with checkboxes?
Just when I started getting the hang of has_and_belongs_to_many
relationships, I realize that I should probably convert several of my
app''s joins to has_many :through type relationships.
One example, pairing users with categories via subscriptions, where
each user can be the "owner" of a category, has given me particular
trouble when I try to update a user''s

why isn't :order working in acts_as_list

doing), but I can''t seem to get things to order by the specified column.

OCI adapter slowdown on dictionary access
Hi,
after some experience with Rails on MySQL databases I gave it a try on one
of our larger Oracle database.
I was facing a problem when Rails tried to detect the columns for a
model/table. The appropriate statement ran about 1 min which led to a
timeout.
Our Oracle guru told me to analyze the SYSTEM schema. After that hadn''t
helped, he said the only remaining chance is to use a

Oracle and Rails seems really slow.... In development
I''m just looking into how to connect to Oracle using Rails. I''ve got
everything connecting and working as it should.
I have a Users table in Oracle:

t.column "created_on", :datetime
t.column "email", :string
t.column "note", :text
