I have checked the db before posting and I think I have tried everything listed there. Using Fedora 11, wine 1.1.20 (newest in their repository except .23). All sound works - including in Vent until it crashes. Vent starts up, I can connect to a server, I hear the connection sounds, and then I get a 'had an error, shutting down' box and it crashes. Ventrilo in version 2.1.4 work properly good under wine. I talk with friend without any problems with sound, but there is one with "Push-to-talk" function (hotkey). When frame with ventrilo have lost focus i can't use this function. I spent a lot of time to googled about it and I found program called xbindkeys. I am running Ventrilo client 3.0.4 through WINE 1.1.15 (built in wine git to use WoW stability patch). Sound works fine, program starts and I can hear everyone and they can hear me. But when i try to run them together World of Warcraft just freezes. Ventrilo still works fine, people can hear me and i can hear them. When i run WoW without Vent, it works really nice.
