Include with two references of one model of the same table
Hey guys, I just came across this oddity, not sure what to make of it yet, but I think it might be incorrect behavior. When doing a @inst.find(:all, :include => ["hometeam", "awayteam"] ...) hometeam and awayteam are two references from a belongs_to that is of the same model and of the same table. I will get a pgerror stating that "matches", which is

Eager loading issue
I have three tables, Invoices, Projects, and Managers. Each manager has many projects. Each project has many invoices. When displaying a list of the invoices, I am using: Invoice.find(:all, :include => [:project]) Since the list shows information from the project table. (For example, a table showing Invoice Date, Project Name). However, I''d also like to show the manager name.

samba4: samba-tool and (unix) uids
Hello, at my universities CS computer pools we're trying to migrate our samba3 based NT domain to AD with samba4-rc1. In the past we had a little script which our users could run on their own from their linux account which created a samba user with their own uid/gid and set their password (via smbpasswd). We're trying to recreate this behaviour with "samba-tool user create"

Convert H:MM:SS PM /AM into 24 HR syntax
I've got an array of times in H:MM:SS PM/AM format, e.g. "5:27:15 PM" (no leading zero), and I would like to convert them over to 24 HR syntax, e.g. HH:MM:SS. If it matters, the times are from the Central Time zone. Is there a command to convert the time to a 24HR format? I tried the following: ptime("5:27:15 PM", "%H:%M:%S") [1] "2009-11-04
