replication dropped imap flags
Hi list, I think, I found a bug in the replication setup, that drops (custom) flags like Thunderbird labels. I have set up a simple 2 node setup to reproduce and explain it: Host adove.mpi-klsb.mpg.de and bdove.mpi-klsb.mpg.de (doveconf -n attached) have dovecot-imapd (from repo.dovecot.org) installed on an ext4 filesystem. They only have one account "test" via /etc/dovecot/userdb

vista on mongrel
Hi, I have installed mongrel on Vista and my app runs *really* slowly. Checking Net stats in firebug shows each html request for the assets taking ~1s. Running same app on XP is fine and running as webrick on vista is fine too. There is also a strange pattern : each of the http requests to mongrel take marginally more than 1s, e.g. 1.04, 1.05 on webrick each request takes ~ 4-40ms. Very odd

Polycom Static IP
I am still having issues with my Polycom 301 phones when I disable DHCP. I give the phone a static address and I keep getting the error 'could not contact boot server using existing config'. As soon as I set it back to DHCP enabled the phone can see the boot server and I'm online. Steve -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:

Flash IDE
Hi We have a number offices accommodating 4-6 people each hence it is very important for PBX to be fanless and silent. We have been looking at using IDE flash disks also called DOM. The performance tests we have done so far satisfy our requirements, however we are concerned with DOM durability. We have installed debian and vanilla asterisk on 1GB DOM. All seems to work fine at the moment however

Any HowTo for Getting Started With Xen?
Hi folks, Now that CentOS 5 is out with Xen, I can theoretically take better advantage of my nice Intel processor with the virtualization piece than I can with VMware Server. Ideally what I would like to do is install CentOS 5 as a dom0, then run my existing CentOS 4.x installation as a domU while I figure out how to do other interesting things (like install Solaris 10 and Windows as domU

Hi! In the release notes it is said RHDS will replace OpenLDAP. However, I can only find OpenLDAP in CentOS5. I tried to google the web but it returned nothing useful. Does anyone know about this? All, I have put in the testing repository a new version of freenx-0.6.0 and nx-2.1.0 for both CentOS-4 and CentOS-5. This is using one set of SRPMS to build on either CentOS-4 or CentOS-5 RPMS. To get files from the testing repository, see: http://wiki.centos.org/Repositories Make sure you have the .el4 packages if testing on CentOS-4 or the .el5 packages if testing in CentOS-5.
