pxelinux bug's
Hello Peter,
The attached patch contains three small (although 2 of them are
fundamental :) fixes for pxelinux
1. Alignment error when more than one initramfs are loaded using initrd
- the alignment of the last disk is discarded in calculations but is
ALWAYS present when the loading procedure is called. As a result - the
second image (cpio) is not recognized.
2. On some platforms

Autocompleter that auto scrolls through results..
Hi All
Before I investigate further, has anyone implemented an Autocompleter that
will auto scroll down / up the results div as the user moves down through
the list (using arrow keys) ?
Any pointers / thoughts appreciated.
Best
Matt

InPlaceEditor scrolls to top in Firefox?
When I click an InPlaceEditor field in Firefox 1.0.7, the page scrolls
up to the top. That''s disconcerting, and often ends up with the
editable field out of the viewable pane. I can duplicate this on both
Mac and PC. Is there a way to prevent this? Even the demo at
http://wiki.script.aculo.us/scriptaculous/show/Ajax.InPlaceEditor does
this.

GRUB and vga=788
Hi,
On a minimal (e. g. without X) server install, one of the first things I
do is add 'vga=788' to the 'kernel' line in /boot/grub/menu.lst, so I
can use the framebuffer in 800x600 mode and have a better readability in
console mode.
However, I tried this on my minimal CentOS 5 install, and right after
GRUB, the screen just blanks. I add that this (test) machine ran maybe a

scrolling in a <select multiple="multiple"> list
I have a <select multiple="multiple"> list with a fixed height. It
contains several <option> elements that extend well past the viewable
area. I added code that would track which options had been previously
selected so that users could select multiple items without holding the
ctrl key.
I''m storing the previous selections in an array whose index

I don''t think so ? What I mean is if the user moves through the results
using the arrows keys and the results div is bigger than the screen height,
then trigger scrolling on the results div itself ?

Strange scroll behavior of Auto Complete inside Active Scaffold.
Hi Everyone.
After a long weekend of testing some stuff out I finally got the auto
suggest working.
I have got a problem however in both IE and Firefox as the drop down
scrolls the page down to the element only when the up arrow is
pressed.
Here is a detailed example.
When I have
<%= text_field_with_auto_complete :product, :colour %>
in my product _form.rhtml override...

syslinux bootsector info?
Mr Anvin,
is there a specific loading address used with the Syslinux bootsector (to load ldlinux.sys)?
like msdos 0x70,
freedos 0x60
we're trying to have a SYS program that can create bootsector for other OS's than FreeDOS only. not much luck though :(
this way I'm trying to avoid the use of syslinux.exe/com
(need the diskspace that it would save by not including this program)

Isolinux bug: CD bootsector support broken
HPA,
I believe that support to boot windows CD bootsectors was broken
in 3.05. I have tested 2.13, 3.00, 3.02, 3.05, 3.06, 3.08, 3.11, and
3.20pre6. All versions >= 3.05 are broken. All versions <= 3.02 work
fine with the same config. The error message I get is:

Drag & Scroll
When using drag and drop, the browser window will not scroll if you move the mouse off the page. This makes it very difficult, if not impossible to create certain types of web applications.
I know this has been mentioned before and is on the Wish List, but it''s very frustrating.
If you look at this other Javascript library called "Drag''nDrop & DHTML Library"

Question about .bs and .bss style bootsectors.
Hello
Recently I've been happily experimenting with syslinux, replacing grub
and my old bootmanager. All works beautifully, but I have one question -
in case of .bss bootsectors - what exactly and under what circumstances
is patched in ?
With syslinux used as main bootmanager - bootsectors from xp64, xp32 and
[pre-syslinux] msdos 7.1 (98se) work perfectly fine when chainloaded

unwanted scrolling
Hi all,
I'm using Scriptaculous version 1.5.0 to make div's that are hidden at
first (display: none position : absolute) visible using the cool
effects of Scriptaculous. However when I use the effects (Appear,
BlindDown, BlindUp) on div's that are positioned low in a long page IE
and Firefox always scroll back to the top of the page, sometimes even
scrolling away from the effected
