Traffic control of PPPoE users
I need some suggestions, I want to limit the up and down bandwidth of PPPoE users that are terminated on a Linux router (kernel 2.6). What are my options, can I apply tbf qdisc on a ppp interface? That would limit the download, what about the upload? Any suggestions are welcome. -- damjan | дамјан This is my jabber ID --> damjan@bagra.net.mk <-- not my mail address!!!

WISH: Built-in R session-specific universally unique identifier (UUID)
# Proposal Provide a built-in mechanism for obtaining an identifier for the current R session, e.g. > Sys.info()[["session_uuid"]] [1] "4258db4d-d4fb-46b3-a214-8c762b99a443" The identifier should be "unique" in the sense that the probability for two R sessions(*) having the same identifier should be extremely small. There's no need for reproducibility, i.e.

[PATCH] handle --debug-gc universally via at_exit hook
Several tools handle --debug-gc command-line option, by explicitly forcing GC on every exit path. This is tedious and prone to forgetting some of the exit paths. Instead, add a generic handler for --debug-gc, which installs an at_exit hook to do the GC consistency check, and which can be called right in the command-line parser. Also adjust all users of --debug-gc to use that handler.

Blind Transfer Won't Hangup
I'm using FreePBX 2.5.2.2 with Asterisk 1.6.1.4. If I make a call and then decide to blind transfer them using ## my side of the call is not hung up. Instead it sends me to voicemail. If somebody calls me and then I blind transfer them with ## I am hung up on as expected. I called from 8678 to 28688. I then transferred the call to 8532. Asterisk acts like it wants to hang up, but then
